yeah, I have fallen on hard times.2024 is going to be my best year as an advantage player and by a pretty wide margin. Part of that is the play my brother discovered and he and I played this spring. But, I have 3 streams of AP income that are over 40k, one of them almost 70k.
Add that to last year which was a decent year, not spectacular but decent and add to it, a settlement that I received, (I don't really count that as AP income), but all told 500k in 2 years, winnings at casinos or related to casino play (settlement).
I think it took me 8 years to hit my first 500k. Coming a little quicker these days.
AND most important for me, is I finally have been able to start putting some money away for retirement. I kind of fell behind on that, as AP's have different priorities. First is to build your bankroll to a reasonable level that will allow you to keep earning money at for-all-intensive-purposes, 0 RoR. Then a nice home to live, and finally preparing for retirement. So, I have finally been able to catch up.
If these are hard times for me, I can't wait for the good times.
