Games like this one are traps for rec players and not to astute AP’s alike. This is the trend on the casino floor these days. The fake persistence games are all over the casino floor now. In the case of Rising Rockets, lights keep lighting up on the rockets as you spin until they are so bright you can’t ignore it. The growth of the lights is designed to deceive the player into thinking the machine is ripe to hit a bonus round. It’s meant to keep the player spinning because she thinks the machine is close to hitting.
But the odds of getting the bonus are the same on every spin. I was surprised that gaming allowed it. If you go into the rules screens you will usually find some small print buried somewhere that tells you it’s fake.
