I was out playing on the strip both Christmas Eve and Christmas night. It was somewhat crowded, which is why I was playing. But that was NOT the crowds that will be building towards NYE. The Christmas Eve / Christmas day crowds in Vegas are predominately Asian. The turnover towards the more diverse crowds that will build to NYE begins today. You will start to see a lot of Midwesterners and easterners, sporting sweatshirts and jackets with logo of Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, Ohio State, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the New York Giants and Yankees, and the Boston teams. That will build throughout the next few days and add to the California crowds driving in. And the Asians which have dominated the past few days will shrink to their normal numbers.
Should be a good time for me to get in some play as the year comes to a close.
