I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.

Hey kew--how about showing us a picture of your skis, right next to that surfboard of yours that's all greased up.....you know, just like your skis! Then post a few receipts from your pretend trip, you know, just like you did on your make-believe trips to S. Calif. and back east with baby bro!! Hahahahahahahaha.....

  3. #43
Good try Rob. I wouldn't post a picture of a receipt from my lunch today at Sonic. Why would I?

BTW, I don't own skis. I did say skiing trip, but we were snowboarding. And no, I won't post a picture of that either.

The hahahhahhhahahahaahhaah... part here is the fact that Rob actually calls out anyone for their lying ways.

Dawg is actually as bad if not worse than Singer in this regard.

This is a guy who posted that he had purchased a "mid 7 figure Mansion here in Vegas". When it was pointed out that there was no real estate transaction matching that, he said there wouldn't be because it was purchased in a family trust name. When it was pointed out that there still would be public record of such a transaction, he then went back and removed the post altogether, never to mention it again.

THAT right there, before we even got to the 7 months of winning millions of dollars that Wizard made him retract, should have and I think did tell anyone and everyone what is really going on.

People like you and others on this forum, can play along with his trolling and fantasy, but it is as real as playing blackjack at a private table with members of a hockey team that were quarantined in Canada at the time he claims. Or terms more widely understood on gambling forums, as real as seeing 18 y.o. in a row.

    "The Great Mdawg adventure".

In other words, you continue not providing even the simplest of proof for the hundreds of things you claim as part of your online fabricated existence.

This is no surprise to me as you know. It's the reason you keep having these meltdowns whenever I remind you than I know the real YOU. The only thing you believe you have is just enuf anonymity to keep your concocted life on life support on the internet. But you know that I know just enuf to make you come apart at the seams every time.

Rob might have a point here Kewlj.

After all Rob did post not only a Newell receipt, but a picture of himself inside the Newell!

It doesn’t get more proofy than that

    Weird.

All my friends that snowboard, would never say they went skiing.
    They all went boarding.
    But, hey. You be you....

    I caught that too.

Kewl, please accept this free tip for more effective lying: simply omit the details rather than fabricate or change them. When you change details, this creates more information that you need to remember in order to keep your false narrative coherent. However, if you omit details and keep things vague, you reduce the amount of information you need to keep track of. For example, you could have just said you took a trip, period end of sentence, without including that it was a skiing trip, oops no wait snowboarding, with rented equipment, etc. etc. ad nauseam. Because you being you, you'll later forget what details you lied about and slip up.

The reason kew includes many of the smaller details within his fake stories is because he's stupid. He's so used to concocting these things on forums that he just can't help himself "try so hard" to make it appear real. That's what got him caught in his fabricated "backrooming" whopper, where he continued to embarrass himself with explanations rather than pictures or proof.

The loser's so desperate for relevance, attention and acceptance that he never realizes the more he posts about these stories the more he lies....and looks like the total fool that he's been since day 1.

    And I like it!

If you worked the NFL statistics like Billy Walters did you would have plenty to do on the NFL. In his book he said he bet 5 to 10 NFL games a week.

That's probably the big difference between the stats guys and the opinion guys. Could you opinion guys find 5 to 10 NFL games a week that you would figure to have an edge?

Why does Walters beat the NFL but you don't? Could it be that his statistics work but your opinions don't?

That must be it. He hired me because my opinions don't work.

I was going to do a long, semi-educational response to this nonsense, but why bother? Mickey Crimm has no idea how I do what, and that's probably what annoys him. He is also looking for some distraction from The Riddler doing a mic drop moment after two years wherein The Riddler never had a losing recommendation. Hard to denigrate that, so now we have "Bob Dietz doesn't use statistics. He's an 'opinion guy.'"

Mickey, honestly, do you have any idea how silly that is?

You should stick to what you have some idea about, really. You are a fine machine analyst, from what I can grasp (which is limited). When you render opinions on much of this other stuff, it undercuts your core reputation, your gravitas, your overall look. When you talk about sports betting, you are the proverbial "kite in a hurricane."

It's okay to accept that you don't have any idea about certain stuff, including me. I'm not going to waste my time typing something up regarding my 50-year handicapping history, but the idea that "my opinions" are math deficient is kind of funny. And I could write a book about Mr. Walters' NFL chapters, but that's for another day.

Have a good end-of-life, mickey. Here's my recommendation for you -- try to spend the time you have left interacting with people who are smarter than you. You might learn something.

And finally, I leave you with this:

When using statistics for sports handicapping, language is everything. The starting point should be figuring out if your opinions are full of statistics or if your statistics are full of opinions.

I asked my friend, The Riddler, if he had any final advice for you. He said to pass this along as it's a fine caveat regarding many statistics:

"Life isn't lived under a lamppost at night.
Most of your steps are outside of the light.
If you stay upright (unlike the hurricane kite),
You may find the slickest spots are clearly in sight."

For those that don’t understand this references Philadelphia with Ben Franklin and the kite and the Eagles fans tearing down lampposts celebrating Sunday.

So the inference is to bet the Sixers at 65-1 to win the East and 100-1 to win the NBA Championship. Thank us later!

Actually, The Riddler says it's a reference to the famous cartoon with a guy looking under a lamppost for his keys when he dropped them across the street. But there's no light across the street. And how that pertains to current formal sports statistics.

I would not bet the 76ers with mickey's money (or Rob's, for that matter). Maybe kewlJ's. They really butchered that franchise. It's hard to believe what's happened there. Just unfathomable. I still don't believe it. Instead of hiring sports psychologists for the lead guard idiot, they should have just bought him a different hooker every night to loosen him up and teach him when it's okay to shoot (yeah, that was poor, but what the hell).

Yep, team is in worse shape than going into the Process. Stuck with owing Joel and PG almost $500 million yet and both are untradeable. Maxey is the only quality NBA starter and how long until he wants out? McCain looked good as a rookie but blew out his knee a month in.

Hell Ben Simmons and Harden are in a far better place in LA with the Clips.

Simmons' mind must be one of those "cocoons of horror" you occasionally run into. Harden seems to be having a good time -- not too much responsibility for that team. He can do what he feels like doing any given night.

Fantasy-wise, I regularly take Maxey and Harden. They are capable of putting up huge numbers, and they don't cost too much (although Maxey is getting there).

I really thought, three years ago, that the 76ers would be a sustained title threat. Maxey is better than I ever thought he'd be. But they just folded up.

Speaking of fantasy, I have a golf team this week. Nobody is currently under par. LOL. I should stick to things I actually know something about.
