I had an uncle who developed Altheimer's/dementia at an early age, I guess around 50 years old. He was in the veteran's hospital in Coatesville and later moved to a nursing facility, when I lived in Philly area. My Grandmother handled his financial needs, making sure SS and veterans benefits were paid to the hospital. Really that stuff was on auto pilot but there had to be a family member as more or less a contact person. So as my grandmother got older, she really could no longer be that person. So she asked me to be.

I didn't know my uncle well, but since I was the person, I visited him several times (in the nursing facility by this time). Everything he said, was about things that happened in his life 40 years prior, when he was in his teens and early 20's. I don't think he even knew what year it was or who was president, but he knew and told you about shit from 40 or 50 years ago like it was relevant.

I see that same thing in Redietz. I think this guy thinks it is 1984. Or that what he did in 1984, matters to anyone.
No comment but if you put yourself in a field of gambling for 40 years one goddam hopes you had one noteworthy year.
