Remember, "She looked eighteen" and "she seemed to like it" are NOT valid defenses to statutory rape.
A 30 year old man was arrested and charged when he picked up a "25 year old," in a bar and had sex with her. She was SMOKING and had a bunch of tattoos. He honestly thought she was a grown Woman. Turns out, she was a 13 year old Runaway and he was forced to register as a sex offender!
When reading this I had to do a double take because I thought for a second you had written smoking hot. This must have happened in the 90s because kids these days vape, not smoke.
Also bars don't allow smoking these days, but it was recent. I feel the girl should have been charged with SOMETHING for tricking a grown man into thinking she was an ADULT when she was a 13 year old MINOR. I remember posting about this on another Website and Posters saying something like,"What JUDGE ACTUALLY went through with the charges? The man was the VICTIM in this situation, the girl was smoking and has tattoos in a bar and looked 12 years older than her age. She could have EASILY told him,"I'm a 13 year old Runaway, not a grown Woman, but she didn't let him know ANYTHING and he found out AFTER they had sex.
