I strongly suspect that MrV worked his life away, further fueled by drugs, etc., and, so, only to wind up on a neglected gambling site to be able to gloat about it. Ha.

Well, changed out the m's, again, to go with my last post that I changed out the c's, with a ☧ symbol to avoid also the solutions with an x, at https://vegascasinotalk.com/forum/sh...l=1#post191958 . Was actually wondering where its pair was, given that these things, especially the better ones, almost always, if not always, come in two's.
Fits in with the inaugural instances of placing x's for c's, and, then, m's, at the links, https://vegascasinotalk.com/forum/sh...l=1#post191769 , and, https://vegascasinotalk.com/forum/sh...l=1#post191822 .
Anyway, the line above was so stupid that it had to make some other bit of sense. Ha.

Really?
I started smoking weed and drinking at about the same time...mid-teens.
While I stopped drinking last century I still smoke weed...I smoke less now than I did then, but only becuse the strength of the weed is greater now.
So how did I give up alcohol for weed?
My gambling started before I quit drinking, so I can't see gambling being the new, "different drug."
What, Me Worry?
Glad that there're no judges on here. Judges are like 4.2-year-olds. Ha.
Well, you have to explain it to them, half a dozen times, and, then, they call you, stupid.

Or move to Portland.
There are a lot of homeless camps to choose from, or you can try your luck solo but ... well let's say that due to the "perils of homelessness" you won't remain asexual for long.
So partner up with some others.
And good news: you won't need to work any more, just do what all the homeless do: "hang signs" (roadside begging) and scavenge garbage cans for plastic bottles and metal cans to recycle.
Lots of fentanyl addicts support themselves this way.
What, Me Worry?
You know, the more stuff I come across on the internet, Portland leads in leaps and bounds in terms of sheer "entrepreneurial" craziness. Just, wow!

Review show 2 of 2025 Dead and Company at the Sphere
Wow. What a show. I absolutely love new songs adding to their vast repotoir. Lay Down Sally of all songs. An Eric Clapton radio hit from 1977. No real jamming , just kind went straight forward with the song. New material is very much appreciated as long as it's not a Mayer original lol. Opened with Cold Rain and Snow. John playing the Alligator guitar. I'm pretty sure he switched to a PRS for Shakedown but I could be wrong as he went back to the Alligator the entire show. Lay Down Sally also had a new visual. New visuals always appreciated. Green neon lines eventually forming a basic landscape then morphing into a walking bear looking robotic with minimal green lines forming the bear itself. Sugaree started with an old visual accross the ocean and into the water. New visual as the video of the band shown underwater with 2 shafts of light from above the water all in blue. It was kind of short then morphed into old visual of ship of the line under water. Eyes of the World had a wonderful bass solo that I think is one Oteils finest from all the other Eyes. He seemed to let loose a lot more tonight then I normally see on this song. New visuals for Eyes. Start with repeating last night's Bears squares then the new visual. The circus visual. It's a feast for the eyes with all kinds of details. So much to see as it incorporates so many ideas. Really spectacular visual. Really loved it. St Stephen was spectacular. John was so inventive and aggressive in jamming this one out. This song has been a great vehicle for John to explore and he didn't disappoint tonight. They also showed short shot of Phil. Big roar from the crowd of course. I was expecting it since this is the old visual where Jerry sometimes appeared last year. Drums had the same visual from last night with the stained glass. Once Mickey left after Space, only Oteil went on stage and did a wonderful bass solo jam. Hear hear that they are giving Oteil more room. Other then this, Eyes is the only time the Band really let's Oteil stretch. US Blues had the Classic Skeleton animation visual but with new visuals. I view the skeleton visual as 4 parts. Part 1 dancing and hopping onto the motorcycle. Part 2 riding down the road. Part 3 riding cycle through the sky. Part 4 back on the ground and driving through Vegas to the Sphere. Tonight we got Part 1 then went directly to part 4 and we got the whole part 4 for the 1st time. A visual of riding the motorcycle through Vegas right up to the actual Sphere. Very very cool visual. No Phil describing the band like last night. Back to the documentary announcer after landing. Casey Jones closer really really rocked
Overall a great show with 2 new fabulous visuals , circus and motorcycle part 4. Of course the music kicked ass and a new song. Pretty thrilled with the show. As usual finished off the night at the Tuscany

Review of show 1 Dead and Company 2025 ar the Sphere
Very entertaining show. Opened with Gimme Some Lovin, the old Spencer Davis Group in 1966. Grateful Dead covered it but never Dead and Co so a very welcome surprise. I love how they adding to their repertoire. So far the opening 2 visuals remain the same as all of last year. Bertha had new visuals. Falling lights morphing into a screen full of small bear squares and overall changing their colors to depict band members but in kind of a Lego appearance with the small bear squares. New Speedway way Boogie was sung with vigor by Bobby. He looks great. Finished with Don't Ease Me In with new visuals. Stacks of TV each playing different stuff from trippy to the band members. Stacks morphed into one giant TV back to the Stacks. Scarlet Begonias last year had the classy flower petals falling. Well we got a new visual for that song and it was just too weird for me. Weirdly costumed characters dancing and moving then stopping in weird positions. Then doing it again and again. You would have to be on acid to dream this up. Just too weird for me and I thought it distracted from the music rather then enhance the music. They ended Scarlet Begonias then started Fire on the MT. I much prefer the slow transition jam as in years past instead of ending one song then starting another without the transition. They changed up the vocal arrangements again. Last year Mickey rapped the whole song 1st half of the run. Halfway through they had Oteil sing most of the song with Mickey taking the last stanza. This version had Oteil do a stanza. Then Bobby did one. Then John did one and finally Mickey for the last stanza. Drums new visuals. Stained Glass morphing into a skeleton playing mushrooms drums morphing into changing geometric shapes surrounding the band visual. Out of space we got Standing on the Moon and when Bobby sings the "Gulf of Mexico" line, a big roar from the crowd. Going Down the Road had the old 2 part skeleton on the motorcycle Going Down a road and eventually flying through the sky. Shows with this great animation sequence were often ended early due to the song. Tonight it played longer then usual with the motorcycle back on the ground and heading to Vegas. This was new material to see. Also GDTRFB had Oteil singing a stanza then Jeff doing a stanza. Closing visuals the same as last year except they used Phil's voice describing the Grateful Dead in place of the fake documentary voice used last year. Otherwise same visuals.

Review of show number 3 of the residency.
Another entertaining show. John on the Alligator guitar whole show. Fun 1st set closing with Deal and a brand spankin new visual. As usual for Deal , John can really shred on it and he didn't disappoint. New visual is descending neon with small video snippets of the Grateful Dead in what looks like the 80's to 90's era. Pretty trippy. Opened the 2nd set with the classic China Cat Sunflower with more new visuals. The computer error visual morphed into lots of hearts visual into playing the computer Blackjack for 1 hand. We won hitting 20 , computer lost. Help On the Way was great with more new visuals. Colorful sound levels visual. We got a Help>Slip>He's Gone. Interesting combo but I don't think it works as well as other combinations. It's wonderful when we get the traditional up tempo Franklin's Tower after Slipknot instead of the slow plodding He's Gone. I think an up tempo song works better after the up tempo Slipknot then going into a slow tempo song like He's Gone. Despite that He's Gone was beautiful featuring and wonderful John intense guitar playing at the end with his sound turned down. Drums started very mellow with human sound samples and electronics sounds thrown in. Usually Drums starts with intense drumming. Tonight it started mellow with the electronics and human samples doing the slow build into intense drumming. Got to experience the haptics 1st time this weekend. 1st 2 nights was in 100s section and was able to move down into non haptic seats due to a lot of empty unsold seats in front of me. Tonight my 105 section was sold out so stayed in my row 26 seat which have haptics. After Mickey Space segment, again Oteil came out alone for a bit of a bass solo but it was short as Bob John and Jeff joined him shortly. I think this is an area where they should let Oteil do his thing a lot longer before band members can join him. I remember the Allman Brothers gave Oteil a lot of time after their Drums segment and let him play and wail for a while. During Morning Dew they showed Jerry then Phil on the screen. Got a pic of Jerry but not quick enough to get Phil as they only showed him for a moment. After landing, they went back to Phil voice talking about the GD. Having them breakout Box of Rain after hearing Phil talk is perfect. Wonderful way to end the evening. After the final song 1st 2 nights band just left the stage. Tonight they did the whole group bow after the final song. Checked out the Tuscany Copa room after the show. Really good band but that Copa room not big and it gets so crowded and tight in there on a busy Saturday night. Just stayed for a couple of songs and left. I was exhausted after 3 shows. Shout out to Lionel on the craps table. Deadhead I've been communicating with and finally met him as he recognized me wandering around after leaving the Copa room.
