I am not familiar with Gary Brecka, but that was an informative podcast and a fair representative of everything I have read and seen. Non-believers can doubt and call it quackery, but there is some definitive science behind it that you can literally see results of and changes (for the better) at the cellular level.

I am not sold of the idea of earthing/grounding mats or even sheets for your bed that they have available. They supposedly work by plugging into an outlet that is grounded. That sounds a little more far-fetched to me, plus I don't like the idea of monetizing the concept. So for now, I am just going with get out, take my shoes off and spend 20 minutes a day walking in the grass. And if it turns out there are no benifits....nothing lost.

It just seems very reasonable to me that there are benefits to connecting more with nature. Getting some fresh air. Getting some vitamin C directly from sunlight. It is all connected.

AinQ, like the late Ozzy, you seem to enjoy and get a kick out of the trolling and "stiring the pot". You hold someone that does so in high regard. But here is the problem. These guys you hold in high regard like Dawg and Singer before him, didn't set out to be a troll extraordinaire. They set out telling fantastical stories and claims that defy math and reality. Failing at that and unable to answer questions they resort to trolling.

Take Dawgs latest claim, that after announcing he was 86ed from one of the majors only two weeks ago, he is back in Vegas playing and winning even bigger amounts. Amounts so large he can't give a number. Of course that immediately brought some questions at WoV, which Dawg has not and cannot answer. And when he attempts to, he just looks like a damn jackass, so he resorts to trolling.

The guy basically is saying and thinks that casinos on the strip....the big boy casinos...don't communicate with each other.

As you know, I have a friend that works at one of the majors and he knows everything going on at the strip both at his casinos/chain and not associated with his casino/chain. If there is a higher end player that is losing or even perceived to be playing -EV, every casino knows and would like to get a piece of him. If there is a higher end player winning or perceived to be playing with an advantage, every casino knows and is on the lookout for that player.

I don't hear about all of it, but he knows as does every other person in management at these casinos. My friend only shares with me things that might effect me like a team of APs or card counters circulating which could have consequences for me and my brother because every casino gets tight during such a period. But he knows every time a higher end player is winning or losing. EVERY TIME!

For Mdawg to think that every casino wouldn't be aware and communicating this kind of information, again, shows a complete lack of understanding of how things work.

If you are going to AP Las Vegas, you have to work at it and that includes playing limits where you won't be known and on the lookout for up and down the strip!! I am not a big believer in heating pads. It feels good but does nothing to really solve any problem you might be using it for. Same thing with medications that mask pain. Now I will take ibuprofen because taken in doses of 600 MG it reduces inflammation. But I won't take it every day. I prefer a natural inflammation reducer like Turmeric. Turmeric really has A LOT of health benefits and almost no one incorporates turmeric into their diet. I use both root powder and supplement. And I am not a big supplement guy, but really got to consume more turmeric. Everyone should.

Except 2 billion + in SE Asia, not to mention you're like 10 years behind the Western turmeric fad. Oh, by the way

I am not Asian, despite the lies stated here. So if turmeric is being used in Asian and other cultures for health benefits, great for them. They usually are ahead of us in many of these types of things. And if I can learn something and pick up something from these types of cultures, I will do so.

Our Western culture and diet leads to many health issues that other cultures don't have or don't have to the extend we do. Many of these issues, diseases, ect, extensive inflammation is a root cause of, including cancers and dementia and just many things. The western medical establishments answer to inflammation is take 3 Advil (ibuprofen). 2 is not even enough. You need 600 milligrams 3-4x a day for inflammation fighting/reducing properties. Taking that much ibuprofen that often has other major side effects.

That is actually our whole medical culture now. Take a pill for this. Then side effect pops up and take another pill for that. Pills and medication are chemicals. They are poison. They are not the answer, unless you are dealing with a severe specific issue. And they should not be the first answer.

There are things, nutrients, foods in nature that fight inflation and disease naturally. Just many of these healthy things aren't part of the carb rich American diet, so Americans don't get enough. And turmeric is right there at the top of the list. Make no mistake, turmeric doesn't taste good or at least I haven't adapted to the taste. I try to mix it in with pudding, applesauce, soup, occasionally make a tea. But it is bitter and you can't cover that up. So in addition to trying to incorporate more turmeric in my foods, I take a supplement, which I am not big on.

I sincerely believe more turmeric in the diet will be beneficial to everyone. And if that puts my catching up to Asian cultures that already know and understand this....so be it. I am happy to be joining the club.
