I got used to 8’ ceilings in the 20th century.

Now I feel weird in a place with 8’ ceilings, especially hotels.

10’ is standard to me now.

Also doesn’t help that I can reach up and touch 8’ ceilings without even standing on my toes.

8 feet ceilings are WAY too low. My Boss is about 6'5 and that's only just two feet and a half of space overhead for him standing up. A LOT of people are also 6'5 and would also have just 2.5 feet of overhead space for them as well. It's even WORSE for anyone who is saying 7'6 like Yao Ming, YIKES. :O

A work around for tall people in this situation would be to crawl around the room on their bellies.

Unfortunately though it would only work if the length & width of the room was greater than 8 feet, otherwise they would just run into the same problem horizontally that they were trying to avoid vertically.

Looks like Tasha let her true time-traveling secret slip ... that she has seen the future where her boss has lost a foot due to old age. Ha.

I mean, no answer stands the test of time, in that each is time-dependent. In other words, even a broken clock is right at least twice a day.

I meant one and a half foot not 2 feet and a half in my previous post. I was tired when I wrote my last post and after getting some sleep, I realized that I was off by one and a half feet.
