MC, you road the rails, did day labor, played poker, played FT, etc much of it I assume was under the table. How does that work regarding SS or do you get SS disability?

I worked until I was 39 and had some pretty good jobs in those years. How much SS you get is based on your highest paid 40 quarters. I easily had 40 quarters paid in. Didn’t file until I was 66 years 7 months old so disability wasn’t involved. Had planned on waiting until 70 years old but had a heart attack. I filed about 3 weeks after the heart attack because I didn’t know if I would ever be healthy enough to hit the casinos again or even live much longer.
