Why are you confused, Karen?

ATM's rip you off; they're convenient but really you've no excuse for not planning ahead and bringing cash when needed.

I have NEVER used an ATM, nor do I have / use a debit card.

Cash, check or credit card for me, and the card purchases cause pay back: I always pay the bill off in full.

Try it some time, your life should be less chaotic.
Really you have never used an ATM in your entire life?

ATM fees can be avoided by only using ATMs from the same bank you keep your money.

When you don’t use your own bank to take out the money, it’s not really YOUR money, it’s the ATM owners money who fronts it to you for a fee while later getting reimbursed by YOUR bank with YOUR money.
