It’s a near certainty they would not have cancelled and refunded the wagers had they all been losers after the games were played.

The Dawgs 'story' is just that...a purely fantasy story. But the funny part is, if you make one small change to the story, that he loses overall, rather than winning millions, everything else fails into place and works. All the comps and royal treatment, all the casino personnel loving him. (hell they probably get a bonus due to him). add in losing instead of winning and it all works .
