Thread: Old Bacc guys on forums- who was who?

  1. #1
Thinking about the guys 10+ years ago that had wild mathematically impossible claims and fought with each other on the forums including WoV and others. Most got banned eventually. I believe (maybe incorrectly) Garnabby was involved in this.

Anyone still around and will admit to being these guys?

    Egalite
    DMSCR
    Axiomofchoice
    Beethoven9th
    Gr8player
    TournamentKing
    Varmenti
    Neutrino
    Ontariodealer
    Randombacplay12

    And the big one……Baccarat79

Good times! And beats the hell out of the same RED/KJ/MDawg stuff daily.

Can someone summarize the Baccarat79 thing? He was stalking and wanted to fuck or kill another forum member? Maybe both?

I think you are misslabeing Axiomofchoice. He was a legit AP at least from everything I know. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong
I hung out with him a few times, and he was intelligent and mostly normal. I can't remember why he left the forums.

I remember he was peeved that when he met up with Juicy Jenny, all she did was ask about me.

IIRC, Beethoven9th was also sentient. Both of them were fatalities of the 2014 site sale controversy.

Axiomo resigned on 9/20/2014, and Beetho was nuked four days later.

Yes, everyone wants to be an AP.
I don't need or really even want the $$$ (I have way, way more than enough and I don't hunger for material possessions)

He had stories about being a high-limit, always-winning Baccarat player; he presented pictures of chips and various other things to prove it.

He started making up more elaborate stories. Like the time he was in a Las Vegas casino fire. The time his friend died in his arms during a work-related car accident. His baccarat stories got crazier. Perhaps he was winning a bunch of ties or some nonsense.

I made a bet with MaxPen that the guy was a fraud. Max thought he was just a high roller with money. MaxPen lost that bet, and that's how/why me MaxPen and meet when he paid off the losing wager. It turned out the guy was using pictures of his boss's chips, rooms, Wife, shows, etc, and passing them off as his own.

Once outed, he went off the rails and made a bunch of sockpuppets. He then fooled most everyone, claiming he was a host at a major strip property(he gave some detailed, semi-convincing knowledge to unknowable people. Mike and others were asking him for advice. I knew it was BS, and that the guy wasn't a host from the start. At some point, I suspected it was B79, probably sooner rather than later. He finally fucked up by lying where he was at(he said he was at work or some BS) and, Face I think, was able to crossrefrance IP addresses and bust him.

Dude was calling Barbra with crazy prank calls, and he did the same to me.

We'll never see anything like that again.

    Neutrino LOL.

I remember, I had been watching, playing, and tracking a progressive at Bovada. I was suspicious about the progressive.

At some point, he claimed he had hit it. He had no clue I had my eye on that progressive. I needed to know if he really hit it, and it didn't reset, or if he was full of shit. I assmed he was full of shit but there was no wat to prove different unless he admitted it(I think he did once I called him on it at some point).

As it turns out the game he claimed to hit one of the BetSoft games that were fucked up and miss programed not to hit.

I kinda felt bad for him as he was on the spectrum and Mike shared my sympathy and didn't ban him at that time. I don't remember why he was eventually banned. Perhaps for his own gambling addiction protection.

I’m sure you are correct, I just remember him from that time frame being in the discussions with these guys.

Your “boy” sure had (has?) a soft spot for retards. But back then he also called out unbelievable gambling claims. Money sure changes some people.

If he offed himself in the casino I can only hope he left a nice tip for the maid.

    I don't get the reference.

I looked through his recent activity on the other board, and I fear his amiable posting style is starting to rub off on me.

Anyway, it's always a pleasure to hear from you, MisterV. Take care, and enjoy the rest of your weekend, my friend.

Happy Mother's Day ahead, to those who celebrate.

Well I certainly wasn't referring to you.

My point: when a degenerate gambler loses it all and decides to do society a favor and kill themself they really should leave a generous tip for whomever has to clean up the mess, be it a maid mopping up after a pistol shot to the head or a janitor scraping up the remains from the pool patio after a twenty story plunge.

Be considerate is all I'm saying.

Excellent point as usual, perfectly articulated my friend.

I recall one time I behaved thoughtlessly with my wife. So then at the next opportunity, I endeavored to be twice as considerate as I would have otherwise been.

The asshat who called himself “Turbo Genius” is rumored to have done the same.

In my mind he was worse than most of these liars who claim to beat the math with illogical claims in as he pushed others to follow his theories. He appeared to be intelligent in some ways, but stupid in others.

FWIW I pass no negative judgment on folks who decide to kill themselves.

    Who am I to judge?

Who knows better than they do whether their life is worth living?

In the end we're all star dust, so WTF...

Here is when Gr8Player was banned from WoV. He handled it with class.

    And the reason given?

“ However, your message is 180-degrees the opposite of mine. This forum was never meant to be a place to boast about a secret way to beat baccarat and laugh at conventional use of math to analyze casino games.”

Oh how time and “compensation” changes views.

Quite the turnaround from the way he’s dealt with that smelly Saudi camel MPussy and his ridiculous claims…that Sheikhdawg money goes a long way

    My god, that is rich.

But there's still more fun to be had. I found a student of varmenti. Recall that varmenti's system was "partner betting." For example, if a situation calls for a $25 wager, you would instead bet $50 alongside a colleague betting $25 on the opposite.

Adapted to craps, you bet the ATS, and then when you're close to hitting -- hedge.

Here's the system in a nutshell:

I'm off to the casino. Have to try it to know whether it works.

I watched a guy one time play the "doey / don't" at Quinault casino in Ocean Shores, Wa. and it drove the craps crew nuts.

    Such a waste of effort.
