oh look coach belly hoping for a "gottch ya" moment.
Off the top of my head....I don't know.I would need to figure out just what 56% win rate comes to as far as an overall advantage. I am not a heavy math guy especially with formulas and all but I could probably figure it out if I needed to. And if I was claiming to have made a living sports betting for 40 years I would have done so.
In Blackjack, which is what I do for a living, the formula is BR x advantage (different for each TC) x .73 (rounded to .75 for ease).
But I dont do full Kelly, I do fractional kelly.

Why isn't this retard out winning 80% of his tie bets?
It isn't clear to me, nor have I seen any evidence, even by his comments that Seedvalue was any kind of blackjack expert or professional blackjack player, so I don't really care what he opined.
As for me, My first dozen or so years living and playing in Las Vegas, I was a grinder type player, playing every day, for many hours. If you go back and look, you will see that most of my online posting occurred in the evenings when I returned home.
It was about 4 years ago, right around the time of Covid, that I re-invented myself and how I play, mostly due to heat related issues, and began playing much less but for higher stakes, only during busier weekend night times. So yes, Now I have much more time, which I am filling with my own +EV sports betting (bonus play), which leaves me much more time to post if that is what I choose. There are times that I get involved with a play like the BJ machine play my brother and I hit for 10 weeks last year, and you will see me disappear for a while. So fuck you and seedvalue's opinion.
It so happens currently, I do sports betting every day. Volume betting to get through the rollover requirements. And not being a guy that picks 56% on my own, I spend a couple hours each morning online making my picks. Checking different sites and what different people have to say, checking weather/wind conditions, running simulations. So I am already online, and end up reading the forums and spend too much time.
NOW....what about you. What is your excuse? You claim to be a winning player playing many, many, (probably 100's of days a year in Las Vegas) AND claim to be a working attorney and yet here you are posting on a forum 24/7. What about THAT hun???
I don't really judge anyone for posting too much on forums. If that is what we want to do, it is fine. Most cases a waste of time and energy, of which we are all guilty of, but there are worse things we could do to entertain ourselves.

Oh stop it with you attempted "gottch ya" moments CB.
It takes about 53% to break even with the vig...generally. If someone is hitting 56% for 40 years, they would be a multi-millionaire, even if not betting perfect Kelly.
Wasn't it you who discovered the man owed $500 in back taxes? More recently he himself said he owes $900 in back taxes. Of which he pays 1% penelty each month. That is 12% a year. Does THAT sound like a sucessful 40 year sports bettor? come on man.
And I will tell you something else. I have never wanted to get into this because where a person lives and the circumstances surrounding that really should be private. But Bob Dietz made it public and put it on the table for fair discussion when he repeatedly posted his name and address.
So it is fair game, so lets talk about that little house in Johnson City. What we hear from Dietz is how Johnson City is one of the top 10 places to live. I guess every successful sports bettor/gambler is flocking there.
But the reality of it is, that just as Kim Lee figured out, Dietz's wife supported him, which allowed him to do his sports scam-dicapping for decades and break even or maybe even make a few bucks. She supported him. She, a professor at East Tenn State, bought that house. He inherited it when she passed. He remains in that house in East Bumble <-fuck Tennesse, not because it is a great place to live, but it is nearly free for him. All he has to do is pay the taxes and well....

I can't believe that Mdog, who might be the only person to waste more time posting than me, would have the balls to question my posting so much.
Here is a little secret Dog. While Jdaewoo's post mock all the winning you claim, there is a secondary point to the and that is why aren't you out doing what you claim, instead of wasting all that time posting on a forum with 12 people? I guess you haven't figured that out.
Ok, enough for me for today. Going out for a while. Druff really should pay me for keeping this little forum alive and hoppin...![]()

Redietz, when you write about Kelly are you talking about full kelly or fractional kelly? Or are you talking about both?
Druff, let us know when you receive redietz’ credit score.

Let me tell you the stories of Stanford Wong and AxelWolf's craps table. Stanford was promoting this silly dice control theory. It is based on the "blanket roll" concept that if you roll the dice like wagon wheels, then you will eliminate or at least suppress the numbers on the axles. Some guys on the the BJ21 page rented a professional slow-motion movie camera. Even with the softest roll, dice bounced chaotically with no hope of preserving any of the original orientation.
Nevertheless, people continued to practice throwing dice. I saw AxelWolf's table at April's house. April's husband practiced assiduously on that table. He also had a little box to practice while travelling. April's husband came by my house, and we set the box up in my basement. He backed up, threw the dice, and missed the whole box! He then complained that my basement floor was not level. That was probably true, but if you missed a 2-foot box, why would I suspect you can control dice to within millimeters?
On BJ21, young "Little Joe" reported rolling only 1/9 sevens at home, much less that the 1/7 by chance. Stanford teamed up with him, and Fezzik and I bet they could not roll a low number of sevens. During the challenge, Stanford rolling an average number of sevens, and Little Joe did well, winning a bit.
After this, a team flew Little Joe out and put him up in Vegas (with comps). They took him out to tables and Joe rolled too many sevens. Eventually, his cumulative monitored rolls were worse than chance, and the group gave up. Afterwards Joe complained the tables were too bouncy, too soft, too long, too short. He wanted another free vacation.

Just to be clear, it was not my table, we as a group invested in a table, and I got out fairly quickly. Ownership of the table went to someone else. This was all before the popularity of dice control became a thing. It was only after that that the Dominator stuff all started.
Great Story Kim Lee. God, I wish there was more of these kinds of stories on this forum and less of the anti-AP crew trying to demonize and drive away real players.
I will tell you the part I am still having trouble with. How Did Wong, a pure math guy, ever come to believe in DI? That is just shocking to me. And the follow up would be why did it take him so long to back away from it. Do you think he wanted all the Royalities from the DI books before he said, it didn't work?
