    What an embarrassment.

What possesses someone to keep an anemic place such as this going?

Put a tarrif on it and get rid of it!

The real embarrassment is the retard that pretends he can afford an RV.

If you're not spending a lot of money keeping a site up and running, I don't see an issue in terms of viewership. Seventeen is seventeen. Better than sixteen. Now from an aesthetic point of view, I can see an argument for shutting this forum down, but I understand the utility in keeping public some of the useful material regarding actual gambling and gambling incidents.

I haven't been posting much at theskepticalgambler.blogspot.com at all, but it still draws some views, roughly 500 a month even with no new material. And that's with no responses or "forum." That's just readership. The cost to me is low, so no sense pulling it. When I was consistently writing new material, viewership was often three or four times that.

I can, however, understand wanting to disappear this place. Online posting is forever, and nobody is really anonymous in the long run. So your great grandkids are probably going to be able to trace your posting if so motivated. Sort of like discovering your grandparents made porn films. Anonymity is, at best, transient. Wait'll everyone can sic their own AI on tracing posting times/dates and cross-referencing language analysis to tag together various handles. And then people trying to put a lid on their posting histories. Should be hilarious. The scrubbing companies should have a field day, and they still won't work. It'll be AI scrubbers versus AI researchers. An arms race to prevent your grandkids from reading what you wrote.

Some valid points, but kids are so addicted to social media, smart phones, etc. that probably the last thing they’d ever do is try to track down what their grandparents posted about in an early 2000s style online forum.

I think people in general have a curiosity about internet posts of the deceased, whether of friends, family, lovers or just plain people they read about. In fact, I'd say sometimes that the less famous the person the more curiosity because of the paucity of content left behind.

Plus while our progeny might not be interested in mundane posts we made they might be very interested in that someone was running up and down all day long spouting the n word. "Damn, grandpa was a kooky racist!"

Arnold Schwarzenegger warns those on a "path of hate" and antisemitism, they could end up a "loser" like his Nazi father

Like for example UNKewlJ, who according to R.Singer is headed to an early grave, instead of leaving a legacy of fighting for gay rights would be remembered as

Of course UNKewlJ won't have any progeny but maybe there is someone in his family who isn't gay (other than imaginary baby bro, whose sexual orientation is as nebulous as his existence).

I would say that UNKewlJ's taking a stand against racism by quitting the forums in protest might wash away some of his sins, but the jury is still out on this, because the action will ring completely hollow when he returns.

I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.

No worse than parents/grandparents dying and kids cleaning out the house and finding their porn. It’s a story as old as time, at least modern times.

Nothing AI can find online could be as bad as finding blow up dolls, sticky magazines, black dildos, ass plugs and John Holmes VHS videos.

Once you are gone, unless you are Joe Biden watching your legacy being destroyed, no one cares what you or I did or didn’t write other than possibly close family.

I’m not sure, using the word “Nigger” worked out for the positive for NASCAR driver Kyle Larson

    https://www.espn.com/racing/nascar/s...de-racial-slur

He was fired in 2020 by a mediocre team but got hired after a brief suspension during COVID by a far better team. 2 years later he won the Championship and is generally regarded as the best driver in the world over multiple series and types of cars. Now he is running in both the Indy 500 and the Coca Cola 600 on the same day and is a media darling.

Did he “learn his lesson”? Who knows but no one can argue it was the best thing for his career and wallet.

Kids don't care about this nonsense and they'd laugh if they knew how we spent any time at all on this stuff. Yes in my case I was a columnist, books writer, I've appeared on various media, I won playing my vp strategy for 4 years, I made a killing playing the du bug, I made a fool of myself by using a used RV dealership's Newell in place of our own Newell (as if the noodle-slurper knows what that is) for pics, I've continued winning at vp almost every year since retiring from being a pro player in 2009, that $1.5m jackpot went down exactly as I said it did (to the dismay of my critics & haters) and I've been the most known and read gambling forum poster over the past 25 years.

Even so, the only thing my grandkids would be caring about any of this is the money I've given to them from my gambling success. They couldn't give a rat's ass about what's been said here by me or anybody else or TO me or anybody else. We see what the younger generations do as largely a waste of their time, with those gadgets etc. But if they ever bothered researching all the bs that goes on around a place like this, they wouldn't even bother to mention it to anyone anywhere. It just isn't very important to the world.

But, here, we have the edible Mr. Finkle, the shittable MrV, and, everything in between. And, relatively speaking, the internet, itself, was the most temporary form of communication. Ha.

Your whole book is an embarrassment for people who understand gambling. You wouldn't want a casino to hide you in a private room with used gym equipment nor would any casino do that. What a joke. If there was a private room for such things - it wouldn't be in some random room with used gym equipment. Like how/why? Everyone who gets this stuff knows you've been a losing gambler all your life. The only people you tricked otherwise are those who just don't get it.

"Hey - I am going to give you 10k in theo, can you setup a machine and have it networked and everything else for me? Oh yea, can you throw in some gym equipment?" lol.. explain it to us.

Maybe then Kewl can explain how he knew what Stanford Wong looked like.

All you guys are part of what makes this site great. Thank you Dan Druff !!

    AI Overview

IP Transit is a service that allows network traffic to cross a provider's network to connect to the global Internet. It's essentially a paid connection service that enables a network to reach every part of the internet. This is often used by smaller ISPs to connect to the larger, Tier 1 networks that have global reach.

Posters are more a product of the internet, than the other way around.

    For those wondering:

I own the license to the forum software, which was a 1-time payment of under $200.

This forum runs on the same server as my Poker Fraud Alert forum, at no additional cost.

I do all the tech work myself. Much of it is duplicated by what I do on the PFA forum.

The domain name registration is less than $20/year.

Suffice to say that this is a low-budget, low-effort operation, and will remain around as long as people seem interested in using it. Rob, if you think the activity level is not to your liking, you are welcome to leave.
Check out my poker forum, and weekly internet radio show at http://pokerfraudalert.com

Who cares what the cost is? The question should be, are enuf people tuning in so that it's not a waste of someone's time. And what about the actual content....is a fool like "tasha" really the one you want leading the charge? VCT has seen MUCH better days.

You obviously get what you pay for here. And part of that is AQ and his loser/loner/lonely old man knowledge of how casinos work with high limit gamblers.

    Above all, family.

My daughter visited from college. Privately I had doubts that she could find a boyfriend.

    But I worried for nothing.
