KJ, very similar to what I'm experiencing. I didn't do sports, but in 2023, I moved on to slots and that's drying up now too. I'm basically paying my bills and breaking even bankroll wise and investing most of my money these days. Also thinking about going "back to my roots" and doing what I came here to do. If I do go back it will require a lot of travel as I really don't want to burn my local backyard anymore getting trespassed, backroomed and having to go to court. Just becomes a hassle especially when friends or family come to visit and I can't even go in half the casinos (basically the strip). Kinda want to just pay for my expenses and bills in Vegas with slots and let the profit train with blackjack happen outside my locals.

With the new 2 year thing in place, I'm approaching having a clean slate in Vegas again, at least trespass wise, but a lot of surveillance is still going to remember me after the scenes and persona damage I caused on the strip, so that isn't very encouraging, although I could try to do a much better job this time around and not be so memorable. The formal trespasses of which there were only two, will be a clean slate, which is the real key in the grand scheme of things when it comes to legal enforcement and backroomings. I just gotta do a better job of not letting them get my ID like i did for most of my Vegas tenure with some occasional slip ups for not wanting a chip inventory. My last slip up happened while playing an occasional session during my slots adventure where I was rusty and not used to the daily confrontation.

Good post Zenking. Thanks for sharing your experiences and what you are going through.

Not to be an "I told you so guy", but I did warn you against doing anything that makes you more memorable. That is going to happened in some cases anyway. You don't need to do something that makes it more so, Try to keep as low a profile as you can. When backed of, just quietly leave. no arguing. That type of thing.

Live to play another day....even if that next day is a couple years down the road.

The formal trespassing comments are interesting. I fucked my only formal trespassing and the two year, wipe-the-slate-clean by antagonizing them on this very forum. Result, they extended my trespass just as it was about to expire. Should have listened to my own advice about keeping a low profile and not antagonizing and making myself memorable. Live and learn.

In the end, real AP grinders like us, find a way to keep playing. THAT is what we do. That is who we are.

Tasha, first off, you got your story all half-assed backwards. I am not struggling with blackjack at all. Not in any way. I play less than I used to 4-5 years ago and as a result my EV and winnings are less. This was a choice I made. And I do other things with that extra time, one of which is sports betting. THAT sports betting is what is now declining. And THAT is not unexpected. So whatever weird little Jamacan hex you think you put on me, has had no effect.

Sounds like blackjack the discord where everyone is an expert and is so successful and full of money, but they all need teams of people to make money and need to chop plays. They should call it crackhead the discord where evertone has a chance to skim and scam the fuck out of everyone. These guys will even have poker nights on voice where most of them are probably using solvers or cheating in some way and they all think theyre friends. This whole industry is polluted with wannabes, youtube degenerates, and now the degen slot players who finally have a chance at making a buck with AP slots. All these people are polluting the scene.

I also dont exactly believe your whole vegas/blackjack story KJ, but at least its not the craziest shit ive seen and heard on these forums and discords. The yearly profit numbers, while at a surface level seem very believable for a counter, to do it in vegas that long seems a bit impossible. My best counting year in vegas was like 85k, granted i dont put in the time you allegedly do, but i couldnt see myself continuing to do that, eventually every place gets to know who you are. Maybe its possible if you actually put a really big rotation together and stuck to it and had different max bets for each place to not wear out your welcome, maybe.

That year also happened during covid, which im sure the face mask helped.

ZK, you should set up so you can play the entire country, not just Las Vegas. There are advantage slots from one end of the country to the other. And a lot of spots where competition for the plays is not as bad as Vegas. I’ve been nationwide for 10 years now. Love the travel.
