Caesars $50 Show Week: STARTS TOMORROW, JUNE 17 at 8 AM PT!

Caesars Entertainment is celebrating the kickoff to summer with hot deals on more than 150 shows and attractions across its portfolio of resorts. “Caesars $50 Show Week” offers fans $50 tickets and to select shows, two tickets for $50, through 2025. Choose from a wide selection of shows including superstar headliners to the biggest names in Comedy, Magic, and more from June 17 at 8 am PT - June 23 at 7 pm PT.

To activate the offer: pick your date of choice, click “unlock” in the top right corner, enter code 'CAE50'. If there are no tickets available, inventory may be gone so pick a different show or check back later as more tickets may be released.

To be clear, this means you will be able to get seats to select shows for $25 or $50 each.

Does this mean Caesars is struggling that badly?

    Sort of.

In reality, Caesars is just trying something new. They have advanced enough computer modeling now to be able to tell when a show isn't selling as well as the historical average has established as normal, so they start dumping the worst seats in the house last-minute, rather than let them sit empty.

The headliner shows offered right now:
    Big Time Rush
    Chelo
    Wayne Newton
    Donnie & Marie
    Counting Crows
    Josh Gates
    Ramon Ayala
    Steve Miller Band
    Falling in Reverse
    Jeff Dunham
    Scorpions

    The production shows offered:
    Battlebots
    Chippendales**
    Colin Cloud**
    DISCOSHOW
    Mat Franco
    Menopause the Musical
    MJ Live
    Paranormal Mind Reading**
    Piff the Magic Dragon
    Wheel of Fortune Live**
    Potted Potter
    Ru Paul's Drag Race Live
    X Burlesque
    X Country
    X Rocks

You can get tickets to attractions:
    High Roller**
    Fly Linq Zip Line**
    Eiffel Tower Deck**

The ones with ** are $25/each. All others are $50 each.

They're basically trying to fill empty seats, and are counting on the fact that most people won't buy these in lieu of otherwise paying for more expensive seats. I have to imagine that these will all be shit seats.

Interesting, though. Indicates that there's a lot of empty seats at these shows.

Reminds me of when Diamond and above got free monthly shows. It helped fill the house, kept playing customers happy and had a minimum cost to CET.

Just curious what the service fee will be for these tickets. $50 + $30 service fee?

Most of these shows are third tier, just like most of their properties.

I just tried with Wayne Newton.

    Was pleasantly surprised.

There are barely any fees, because most of this is wrapped into the $25/$50 price they're quoting.

I could get two tickets for $103 total, and not even shitty General Admission... I could get Row D in sections 1 or 3 (the two front-side sections). Normally those tickets would go for more than double.

Apparently it's just this week, though.

The thing is that a huge bulk of those Acts are has been who haven't been popular in at least 17 years. For prime example, Scorpions were a huge hit in like 1984, 41 years ago. The Scorpions are around 71 today and most people don't want to go see 71 year old has been Rockstars performing. If this were say Steven Tyler/Aerosmith performing instead, the shows would be huge hits. Steven Tyler/Aerosmith are older than the Scorpions, but they are LEGENDS, not has beens.
Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanently banned.

Yeah, I'm sort of surprised to see B-list geezer rockers like them in LV: I thought tribal casinos is where has beens go to die.

I'm not into Scorpions or Steve Miller Band, but some def are. I might be persuaded to see Counting Crows.

Wayne Newton not into at all but he's like Don Ho and something everyone should see / have seen before he dies. I never saw Don Ho but given all the time I've spent in Hawaii and that the family has a compound there, I should have!
I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.

I saw the Scorpions perform a free concert at a park on a sunny day in Munich in 1998. It was a powerful performance. Their lead singer has an incredible voice and he can and did sing in English & German. Not sure if he still has the chops to sound as amazing as he did back then. It was also permitted for women to sunbathe topless there. A good time was had by all.

Saw Steve Miller Band at the coliseum in Phoenix in 1976. They had a good collection of greatest hits and my ears were ringing for 2 days afterwards. Still, I really enjoyed them. Gotta be crusty old farts by now though. I doubt they'd sound as good.

The only "geezer rock" band i really enjoyed seeing was Fleetwood Mac at MGM about ten or so years ago.

    Otherwise...meh.

The worst performance had to be by Peter Noonan, the former front man / singer for Hermans Hermits: saw him at a tribal casino and he was so bad it was almost funny.

He'd lost his voice, his looks, his energy: these has-beens should simply hang it up and reminisce about the good old days, when they could actually do it.

Agree about Peter N. We laughed more than we should have. It was at a small venue at South Point.

I saw Sheena Easton at that South Point venue a couple of years ago. Had a front table seat. She can still bring it, but you can tell that her last ex was a plastic surgeon. I'd like to see her again if she makes a return visit.

About plastic surgery, for a LOT of female Celebrities, it's a double edged sword/damned if you do damned if you don't. If an older female Celebrity DOESN'T get plastic surgery, she gets criticism about "how old she looks and she REALLY should get plastic surgery."" if she gets plastic surgery, she gets criticized for getting plastic surgery,"She looks like a freak, she shouldn't have gotten plastic surgery." It REALLY is awful both ways

Women whose plastic surgery isn't fucked up by a shitty surgeon don't look like a freak, Karen.

    Duh.

    Not necessarily.

If a woman already looked like a freak before plastic surgery & had a very good plastic surgeon she might end up still looking like a freak simply by virtue of always having looked like a freak. The surgery may just highlight or downplay certain aspects of the freak look prior to the surgery.

Sometimes also freak is the look they are going for.

It would be freaky for a freaky looking woman to not come out of plastic surgery looking better than before surgery but yes, I suppose freakish events can occur.

And yes, freaks can use plastic surgery to look even freakier: like that woman who used it to look like a cat, or the gal who wanted to look like Barbie.

Jocelyn, AKA The Cat Lady was pretty before her plastic surgery. She destroyed her face with her plastic surgery. Note I said,"Destroyed," and not "Damaged,". To me, damaged is a bad thing that can be fixed. "Destroyed," is a bad thing that can't be fixed. Unless it's,"Damaged beyond repair," which would be the same thing as "Destroyed,"

Tasha is right in this respect, I mean look at Michael Jackson, look at Mickey Rourke.

Donatella Versace, Priscilla Presley, Joceyln Wildenstein.

V is really that naive that he thinks that money always buys successful plastic surgeries? No wonder he buys into the nonsense that an obvious compulsive liar like UNKewlJ tries to feed the rest of us.

My wife is very young but I can see that someday she is going to be the type who will undergo plastic surgery, against my advice. I plan to never do so. Good genes, dizzying handsome looks and staying out of the sun will suffice.

UNKewlJ is already an old queen, those people can't avoid plastic surgery, the reason she hasn't already gone the way of Liberace and had her eyes sewn permanently open is she has no deng to speak of could never afford it. What little money she scrounges from MediCaid (always seems to know exactly how the program works! even though denies being on it) goes to dealing with that

I'm sure she'd love some plastic surgery for her eighteenth birthday gift: maybe you can get Wynn to comp it?

The age of consent in Nevada is 16 my man.

The country I am in at this moment, the age of consent is 14, as long as a person over the age of 21 does not exploit a 14- to 15-year-old person's lack of capacity for sexual self-determination.

    Just sayin'.
