Thread: Huge Error -- My Apologies

  1. #1
In my criticism of kewlJ in the "Professional" thread, I referred to him as an assclown, quoting Tony Stark from Iron Man 3.

The line came from the beginning of Iron Man 2! I'm not sure how I made this error. I have most of the original Iron Man stories from Tales of Suspense, including the first Titanium Man go-round, and there really is no excuse for this kind of mistake. My sincere apologies.

Unlike most movie-goers, I actually liked Iron Man 2 and preferred it to Iron Man 3.

Again, my error and my sincere apologies.

Dietz, you are a fucking retard. No ifs ands or buts about it, you are just a fucking retard.

I was hearing and saying assclown long before Iron Man 3.

This thread--along with the many long and rambling posts from kew desperately trying to convince anyone and everyone that his claims about himself and others are "real"....and that the time wasted on this nonsense doesn't make him look as completely ridiculous and phony as it all is....are in and of themselves, solid reasons for shutting this asinine forum down.

Add in a thread about getting cheap tickets for ANYTHING related to Ceasars along with redietz' continually trying to convince people he's something more than a struggling salesman with no respectable retirement income awaiting next to the inevitable farmer's wheel chair, and you have a forum dedicated to having the least impact on any gambling community anywhere.

Wise up Dan, and do the right thing. Then everyone here can spend more time enjoying the incredible tactical abilities of the IDF as they defang the Islamic threat in its entirety.

Rob, I appreciate the life coaching, but I retired two years ago. You are, of course, invited to the new digs just up the road from your in-laws old Asheville haunts. We inspect the new construction this Thursday, and then the formal closing is next Thursday.

As they say on The Price Is Right (and not cheap), "C'mon Down!"

I mean, the best I can do is offer you and the missus a spare bedroom or two as there is no separate guest house. I apologize for that. But you'll have a fine view of Bristol Motor Speedway, and there are some top flight barbecue joints in the vicinity. If you still had the Hellcat, you could take it for a race spin on open track days. Gary from the Retro Road Trip thread swears he'll bring the Lambo down next spring.

Living at your significant other's house is mighty fine. I can't wait until our pool is finally redone. So many fuxking steps. The plastering. Then there is the deck being poured and the coating. I just want to get our there and enjoy my woman's hard work.

It is so nice having someone far more successful than yourself as a partner.

Structures ruin the view. If you are not looking at the natural world you don't have a good view.

Sorry, man. I lived half a mile from Beaver Stadium for five years. I like having the monstrous ode to mankind sitting there like a leviathan in the distance. This thing is about a third bigger than Beaver Stadium, but at the same elevation and angle. It's a little like living walking distance to the Parthenon.

Not a brag; a personal choice. I like it. I like the hustle and bustle of living near a college football stadium. I like being reminded of what human beings can design and build (for no good reason) if they put their minds to it.

I guess I like having MLB games and occasional college football games and Kenny Chesney (ETSU grad) giving concerts within walking distance. I like the idea of barbecuing while seeing this monstrosity looming a thousand yards away like some special effect against the night sky.

You are definitely a weird one. Imo if you have $$ and aren't in consideration for a school district then either rural or downtown.

The hustle and hustle of a racetrack just means it will be a traffic mess whenever it happens but sure rediwtz glad you found your spot.

I am going to stop commenting (picking on) Dietz about his new home in the parking lot of a racetrack. Too much of that stupid shit going on at this forum, including by me. Red's attitude and talking down to EVERYONE makes it hard not to respond in that matter.

If Red and his lady friend purchased a new home, who paid for it and that shit is their business, not mine or anyone's here. I wish them well in their new home.

Who cares about car racing any more, includingNASCAR?

I used to go to the local short track stock car races in stumptown and also watched F1, Indy and NASCAR, but rarely do I bother to watch races on TV any more.

NASCAR lost its soul when it became national and not mainly a quaint southern thing.

America has drifted away from Indy and NASCAR but seems to be getting more interested in F1, which sucks due to "follow the leader" races.

I miss the slicing and dicing of Prost and Senna.

I have never been into Nascar or F1, despite growing up a few miles from Daytona speedway. Nascar came to Vegas about 10-12 years ago I think. Well we had the track 20 miles north of Vegas so I guess it has been around longer than that, but the main Nascar circuit started since I have been here. It was always 1 weekend each September. Must have been a success because there are now 2 nascar weekend a year, one in September and one in March. I think it is big for Boyd (which sponsors one of the races) and South Point and Sam's Town (which is boyd). I see a lot of Nascar people in their grab downtown casinos as well. But not sure it does much for the strip casinos. If I am on the strip during Nascar weekend, I don't see as many people in Nascar grab.

Now F1, I think is a total disaster for Vegas. There have been 2 years so far and the first seems like somewhat of a success, just because of the newness of it and the cars racing up the strip and all, but the second year there was a major drop off in attendance and interest and how ever they calculate the money it brings in. And it actually hurts local type business, that have their businesses blocked by construction and different traffic pattern for days at a time. And us locals hate the traffic during F1 and the weeks leading up to it.

It really is a pain in the ass. I think they signed like a 5 or 10 year contract after that first year and I expect it will draw less and less interest each year. Time will tell.

I agree with the educated assessment that he got his wimpy ass kicked somewhere/sometime, which is why he gets into all types of cyber fights.
