Thread: Call-In Report for 6/27 -- Coach Belly in the House

  1. #1
Well, we have another call-in window tonight starting at 10 PM Eastern.

But first, I want to thank coach belly for calling in last night. We got acquainted and reviewed a few things, including brief discussions of EV and mickey's somewhat strange way of deciding what 20 games over .500 looks like in baseball, which frankly I had somehow forgotten. Also some discussion of sports betting as not coin flipping and the math of sport betting not being the math of coin flipping.

Coach is from New Jersey, and he was the only one on the forum who understood what I meant when I said I guarded Carol Blazejowski more than a half dozen times playing lunchtime basketball at Penn State. Not an easy assignment. Not much of an upside for a guy, and plenty of opportunity to be embarrassed mightily.

Coach and I are almost exactly the same age and have grown up and lived in a very gambling-oriented, sports-oriented part of the country. I thank him and hope he'll check in again sometime as I continue making myself available to the many APs and civilians on forums around the country.

So I hope to hear from kewlJ or mickey tonight at 10. If any caller would like to record and publicize the call, be my guest. I'll be discussing a formal show later next week with Dennison, who knows his way around a recording studio. Hopefully we can figure something out for YouTube in the near future.

Thanks again to coach belly, and I'm looking forward to hearing from all the fine APs on this forum.

OMG! As my people like to say "Fabulous stuff!"

As for KJ calling you, if I were sitting in prison, in solitary confinement, and had nothing to do for entertainment other than watch paint peel, I would decline the offer by the guards to bring a phone in to call Bob Dietz.

Is there any thing sadder than a guy who is completely irrelevent, who doesn't seem to know it?

Phone books and Polygraphs and General delivery. Still laughing my ass off!

Coach belly is 70 (according to Dietz) Not surprised.

Belly 70, Redietz 70, Mickeycrimm 70, Mdawg I don't know, but his hands in a photo say he is older than he wants people to think. AND of course, Rob Singer like 90.

Mickeycrimm is at the top of his game. The very pinnacle if not in what he is currently making, certainly the top of his game knowledge wise. Mickey is as relevant as ever.

The others, ALL has-beens of "never were's".

It is a dying Forum Dan Druff. Old dudes, probably wearing sandals with socks, talking about telephone books.

Real people doing real things. And then there's kewlJ.

KewlJ, please do NOT laugh your ass off. I worry. We all do.

And I just wanted to say, it's good that kewlJ thinks mickey is "at the top of his game." Because God knows, the way mickey calculates "games over .500," we'll need an abacus to decide if he's at the top of the standings.

That is a very minor detail. Basically just terminology. Plus, I happen to think mickey was right.

As for "real people doing real things and then there is Kewl".:

Yesterday, this real card counting AP, played 7 casinos during the day, playing the local's circuit, and another 6 last night playing higher limit on the strip. Same game blackjack, but two VERY different methods and styles of play. Over 14 hours total play, aver $2300 in EV (I know you don't know what that means).

Finished a little below EV if interested, but that is really irrelevant. Not a bad day for a real player doing "not real things".

edit: less travel time and a couple quick meals, probably more like 10-11 hours of total play. THAT is not really how I track my play though. I use rounds played and EV. REAL players, AP's and just winning players, use EV. Except of course Dietz!

This arrogant attitude of "I got lots of energy and you don't," coupled to your age shaming leads me to believe you might benefit from listening to Robert Duvall:

You are welcome, we had some laughs...fast friends after years of antagonism, who'da thunk it?

Time passes, things change...but hey, you didn't tell tewlj that I'm 70 years old, did you?

Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I'm not sure even mickey is 70 yet.

Anyway...I forgot the real reason I called. I've been Kelly betting all the picks that you (and the Riddler) have posted, and I'm up quite a bit of money. Quadrupled my bankroll already...it's all about the math, don't cha know.

Won so much money that I don't need to work anymore...thank God, especially at my age.

No more tracking 3 tables, hole-carding, multi-carding, bus-tripping, train-hopping, bonus-whoring or hunting for abandoned multipliers, MHBs, accumulated wilds, etc for me.

From now on I'm strictly on easy street, the life of Reilly, or should I say Belly.

So I owe you 10%...should I send a check or do you want to let it ride?

Now that I have plenty of time to travel...does anybody have Axel's address in Washington?

Get help? No kew....please don't! His BS/Entertainment Value is off the charts! And imagine he-who-sells-ass trying to pretend his age is a selling point on the forums. Anyone with his blood diseases, chronic heart problems, severe neuroses of the gizzard, long-covid issues after having had covid multiple times while most or all of us never have, and his stupidly risky/sick lifestyle, will never live a long OR happy life.

In fact, as I've said several times, at 76 now I remain in excellent health and shape, never having smoked or foolishly taken any kind of drugs or narcotics....and I still take no pills of any kind. Which means I WILL BE THERE TO PISS ON KEW'S GRAVE, and to write on his headstone (assuming he or his broke family can afford one) "You ARE The Joke"!

Not really shaming anyone MisterV. least you forget, My partner, would be 64 now if he hadn't checked out early. So I have nothing against older folks. I have something against older folks that are assholes.

Also, KJ doesn't feel like he has lots of energy at the moment. If I get back out tonight for some play, which I am not even sure of yet, it probably will be a short night.

To Belly and Singer.....sorry OLD boys, I still am not seeing your posts, so knock yourselves out. I gave Dietz a brief reprieve from the ignore list only because I made a post recapping and directed at him and felt it only fair to give him a chance to respond, of which he has yet to sanely do.

oh dawg too. Looks like the demented dawg posted something. I am sure I am missing some valuable information and discussion by not seeing these posts. It feels a lot like not stopping to talk to the crazy homeless people sitting on the corner mumbling. I don't think I am missing too much.

V, if the little fairy actually went to 13 casinos in LV, big whoop! I've been driving thru that many STATES in ONE DAY.

You see, he's the typical addicted loser who thinks he's an AP. They're all over Las Vegas. Go to any off Strip casino and ask the first hundred people you run into in each place (assuming they speak English because most of these addicts are useless chinks). That's when you'll discover most local people who play all around town are nothing but losers who claim theyre "AP's" and who put their own value on the freebies they get, just so they can proclaim they "win year after year after year".

Typical kew. Making sure he slips in an explanation of why he messed up by posting a reply to redietz, whom he "put on ignore", before anyone shamed him for it.

You're reading everything kew---you couldn't live with yourself if you didn't!

MrV, don't be offended by my "aged" comments. I know you are somewhere in the same age range being discussed. But there is a big difference. You lived your life, were successful in what you did, and are happy and content. Similarly, mickeycrimm, seems very happy and content with where he is at.

But these other old fools all seem to be people that are really angry and bitter with where they are in life and how things turned out. The trollish behavior these people exhibit and the anger they have when attacking people just is not the behavior of a person content with life, their decisions and where they are. These are the words and behaviors of bitter angry dudes, full of regrets. Big crybabies.

Not only is kewlJ an expert at blackjack, sports betting, slot play, and coming back from the dead, he is also expert at evaluating others' happiness and contentment with life. Truly a Leonardo Da AP with dashes of Sigmund Freud and Carl Yung. No need for casinos to ID KewlJ. In the dictionary where it says "Polymath," there's a nice photo of him.

Coach, I did not tell kewlJ your age. Number one, my memory is better than to butcher it like that, especially since we're basically the same age. Second, it's a tribute to kewlJ's math skills that he arrived at 70. Someday I hope to apply math skills like kewlJ's to all manner of life's challenges.

I like to think I grow on people over time...like fungus between toes.

Personally, I'm going to spend retirement tracking down Blazejowski. She got the better of me when I was in my early 30's, but barely. I think I could take her one-on-one now. Maybe. Possibly. I still have a good left hand. If I could figure out which one that is.

And finally, God Bless mickey. I drove at night through Kansas en route to LV one year. Stopped at 11 PM for a hot fudge sundae and nursed it through the night. Thought I had done a fine job on Kansas's straight roads and nada traffic until the sun came up and I saw my spooning hot fudge into my mouth had made an incredible mess everywhere unbeknownst to me. My point is that Kansas was probably easier than what mickey experiences tooling through the Dakotas, so more power to him.

And may he eternally stay above .500, wherever that is.

No offense taken; i was just trying to make the point that getting old need not mean getting tied to a rocking chair.

Yes, as Rob implies people need to take care of themselves if they hope to actually be able to enjoy their Golden Years when and if they arrive.

I've naught but kudos for those seniors who took care of themselves and are now reaping the benefits.

Okay, folks, calling it a night at 10:45. Will report on any calls tomorrow. And will report on next week's schedule Tuesday at 9 AM. May field calls from the Hard Rock in Bristol for an hour one of those days. I realize that slots are a demanding mistress, but hoping to get mickey and kewlJ to find time to call in.

Have a good night. And God bless Tiny Tim.

This is a weird fucking dude. Now he is going to take calls at a destination?

Shades of about a year ago when he was writing some kind of gambling book and held a media event at the Johnson City book club that he invited media to.

as funny as this shit is...and no you can't make it up, there is a word for this shit.....delusional.

Remember when he was in Las Vegas and would announce he was going to be somewhere, a coffee shop downtown or South Point buffet at a certain time and invited people to stop by and meet him....and no one did? How does someone get to this point? Just sad really.
