I made the cut off at 4 games back of wildcard because there is still 2 full months of regular season left, and this year more than any I remember, we have seen many teams get hot and cold and win and lose 8-10 games or 10 of 12.
At 4 games back, you have to not only win, but leapfrog in some cases 3-4 team. That is hard to do. So in my opinion anyone more than 4 games back is a seller come trading deadline (thursday). Thursdays are often light days in MLB. A travel day. But this week, extremely so with only 3 games. I think MLB knows the action thursday will take place off the feild.![]()
