Question from a person on Facebook (I don't know them personally):

Caesars host just told me I was denied for 7stars & had to “unbalance” my account to be reconsidered for 7star in the future.

Any one heard of this?

(I asked what does unbalance my account mean and my host said between bonuses and me winning i basically have to lose more) ?

I’m flabbergasted because I was chasing.
They later clarified that they earned 97% of their tiers "online", but did not specify what they were playing.

They got a lot of dumb answers, as per usual on Facebook casino groups.

Some people told them that they'll be approved as long as they have no outstanding markers and no behavioral issues (false).

Some people said, "You need to go back and lose, otherwise they won't approve you." (false)

Some people said, "You're overcomped. That's why." (partially true, but not the whole story)

Some people said, "It's because you earned it online. You need to play more live." (partially true, but not quite)

Here's the real answer, provided by me:

Your winning has little to do with it (but it also doesn’t help your cause).

Aside from the obvious marker/behavior stuff, they evaluate your Seven Stars suitability by three metrics:

1) Theoretical loss for the year
2) Marketing value for the year
3) Prior history, if any

Theoretical loss is an easy concept. It’s the loss you would have taken for the year had your luck been exactly average.

Marketing value is somewhat derived from that. It’s your theoretical loss minus any bonuses, comps, and freeplay you’ve redeemed.

Marketing value is your actual value to them for the year. If it’s too low, you won’t be granted 7 Stars, unless it’s an outlier and your past years show high marketing value.

I’m guessing that between your low house edge online play, bonus redemption, and comp redemption, your theoretical loss and marketing value are WAY too low.

In short, don’t bother. It sucks, but they are unlikely to grant you 7* no matter what, unless you play another 150k tiers at bad games.

You can try to take this to her supervisor and plead your case. That’s your only shot.
