I have, actually.
I have fought it for years and see the doc again this Thursday for a check up...in remission since radiation treatment during covid.
BUT...I had my first colonoscopy in June and some scary shit was found: I had surgery in August (bowel resection): one GIANT fucking polyp is particularly memorable; the surgeon said it was like an oak tree, with a narrow 'trunk" holding it to the colon and then it spread out with a "crown" four inches in diameter.
The surgeon said it's the largest non-cancerous polyp he's seen.
Post surgery, in the hospital for five days, I wandered the halls with my portable CD player and headphones, propping myself up with Post Malone...
My life goes on, absurd though it may be...

Lol. Had my first colonoscopy when I was fifty, just to make sure. Same as I never smoked, etc., and avoided "rich" foods. Lots of long-term survivors of prostate cancer. No big deal. Try five months on the verge of death with years of rehabilitation the best outcome. And worse.

If you send cash, pick an amount divisible by either 2 or 3 because I can't tell how many of them there are.
Whatever you do, don't send a gender-specific gift. That looks like a sensitive topic.
I'm wishing I had circled back and grabbed it as soon as I got to my vehicle.

Egad...that sounds horrible, I hope you aren't speaking from personal experience but i fear that you may be.
Whatever, all we can do is fight the good fight and keep on keeping on...cliched perhaps but true.
