Fiore used to be a decent steakhouse at Harrah's Resort SoCal, formerly known as Harrah's Rincon.
In July 2022, Fiore closed. Five months later, they opened up a seafood and steak restaurant in its place, with the odd name of "Salt & Fin". Here was the announcement of its opening in the Riverside Press Enterprise: https://archive.ph/tzJJi
A few people loved Salt and Fin. Many hated it. Others thought it was okay but overpriced. Some reviews said that their bread was too salty... so I guess they at least lived up to their name.
A sign was posted yesterday in front of the restaurant stating that Salt & Fin has closed, and that a "new dining experience is on the way".
However, that doesn't appear to be true. According to someone I spoke to who inquired about the matter, the existing mediocre "'ritas Cantina" will slide over to take Salt & Fin's spot. The former 'ritas spot will be temporarily used for "quick dining options" (I'm assuming premade sandwiches and crap like that) until they decide what to do with the space. They are also tossing around the idea of using the space for a nightclub.
This will live visitors to Harrah's with four sit-down dining options -- Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen, 'ritas Cantina, The Cafe, and the very hated KJ's Chinese Restaurant.
KJ's is really despised in reviews. If you want a good laugh, check out what people are saying on Yelp and Google Reviews. Apparently the service is beyond rude, and they actually toss the menus at you when you sit down.
