I am putting this here in the Las Vegas section.

What a freaking disaster this team is. I am not a fan, was never going to be a fan, but still would like to see Las Vegas field a competitive team for the financial benefits to the region. They are anything but a competitive team. Pete Carroll looks like a coach 10 years past his prime. Geno Smith looks like a mediocre quarterback (in his prime) who is now 5 years past his prime.

It is an embarrassment. I feel bad for the Raiders fans who bought the hype of Pete Carroll, as there was genuine excitement among the faithful heading into this season. Ultimately the blame has to start at the top. Mark Davis is no Al Davis. And who knows what if any role minority owner Tom Brady is playing.

There is no reason to feel sorry for a Raiders fan, ever, terrible group of humans as a whole. Would be like ever feeling sympathy for an Eagles fan.

Carroll never has never been a good coach from a decision making/analytical perspective, just a good hype man/motivator. Much better fit as a college coach but had the fortune of coaching a few hawks teams that were probably the most talented in the league. Geno is perfectly OK, certainly a top 25 QB but outside the top 10-15. A QB in the bottom half of starters isn't going to uplift a team where the coaching and surrounding talent is trash, needs some competence around him.
