    Gotta agree with you there.

Drove across Oregon once from the south to the north & at the end of the drive felt great, the beauty & the fresh air.

Drove across New Jersey once & it wasn’t great, although I will say, it was nice swimming in the Atlantic with the warm water versus the ice cold Pacific.

We've spent a lot of time in Pacific City on the Oregon coast. Both the drive through the state and the scenery are always spectacular. The problem with Oregon, of course, is the excessive amounts of weird people completely detached from reality, led and egged on by misguided liberal politicians.

As usual, Rob, you have things completely backwards. The problem with Oregon, of course, is the misguided liberal politicians completely detached from reality, led and egged on by the excessive number (note: not "amount") of weird people.

Several times over the years but not recently.

    I enjoyed my time there.

When you started posting your fall foliage videos, I noticed I had not yet had much yet. I went out on my property to an area I have not been in for a few days to go fishing, and I was taken aback and the beauty of this.

Must be nice to be able to step out of the house and catch fish for dinner.

My son lives about a mile from the Columbia River and has his boat in the nearby marina; two days ago he caught two coho.

Alas, they were natives, not hatchery raised so he had to release them.

He was trolling, but not the way it is done on this board.

I have never been fond of the Columbia River in the NW., it's too big and murky

Also, when I was a teen, my grandfather died on the Columbia River from a boating accident while fishing near Portland.
