Ah, there's the rub: in your mind a part time, successful AP shouldn't brag about beating the casinos...even though they do?

Does not compute.

AP is AP, whether full time or part time: isn't it"

If not, why not?

Why shouldn't a part time AP be permitted to truthfully brag about having an edge and beating the house?

FWIW I am NOT an AP, I'm just chasing negative expectation games with a pocket full of both cash and hope.
We are not on the same page here V. Part-time APs are absolutely allowed to share experiences including bragging if they want. As I have said many times I even enjoy reading trip reports and accounts from pure recreational (-EV gamblers).

I am just saying that to me, there is something a little different between a fulltime AP that makes a living for years from his AP play and weekend warrior type APs, that come Monday morning go back to a computer programming job. Are both APs? sure (if they are playing with an advantage). But there is something different about them. One has sort of skipped a step in the AP journey of being "all in", and everything that comes with that.

ummm....BTW, same with a player, AP or not playing with Daddy's money.
