Singer is the one that I have always gotten a 'gaydar' type vibe from. Also Redeitz always seemed light in the loafers, but that is another story. Singer knows and talks about things that NO straight man knows or talks about. Don't dismiss it because he has been married for decades and has kids. I know many gay guys, including my late partner that went that route. Most usually find the courage to come out and be true to themselves at some point but not all. Singer displays all the classic symptoms of this kind of deeply closeted, deeply self hate type person to me.

I don't think Mdawg is gay, despite rumors of an interest in trannys or girls with dicks or whatever you call them, that he actually pays. His interest in me has to do with gambling. It is true that being gay would not be accepted in his culture. But I am not entirely sure his father is still alive. he might be but Dawg is older than he portrays. If his father is a live he would be of an advanced age I believe. Not that, that isn't common these days.

I have been looking at those FPJ timepieces, they certainly do command a high price in the resale market. I haven't analyzed to see if they hold value compared to original MSRP, if they do, could be sustainable could be a FPJ bubble?

The watch market is beyond me. I honestly like watches for novel complications or dial design. Dependability has limited value outside having to pay to have the thing fixed. If your watch breaks then you just look at your phone. Thats where Rolex value is and the market is just so large that the price fluctuations are going to be a lot slower and smaller. I'd never put more than a sub percent of my networth on my wrist.

To date the most i've paid for a watch is about $1000 and it was for a Pogue. The first auto-chrono that made its way to the moon. Smuggled up by an astronaut. I bought it at a local shop and the serial number holds a special meaning for me. I'm too lazy to ever be in FPJ level of watches. I'm also as impressed at the price point the Chinese can hit. I bought a $60 automatic that has a power reserve meter .. and on the timegrapher it is less than 3 seconds/day in error. If it breaks - whatever. I have a phone in my pocket as backup.

Funnily enough the only group of people I've heard of around here who have elite watches was a group of "hackers". Probably lots of crypto money floating around. One even had a Ressence. Those are the guys who won't like the Rolexes although nothing wrong with them as they are of the highest quality.

Just turned on my timegrapher this morning for the first time. Neat. Weishi model for $150. Had one cheap chinese watch that is so awful the timegrapher couldn't even register.

Regarding FPJ? It might be a bubble, maybe not. They seem to be very premiumly priced but it seems that is more organic growth vs the games played by Rolex and their Authorized Dealers. I personally love the dials/styles and stories about the designer. lol. They don't say money because only a real watch geek would even know wtf one is. In general I don't think watches are good investments. Clearly if you were able to buy them before the price increase then I'd say a clear investment but buying after a big bubble. Like you can see the Richard Mille and how fucking ugly they are. Just too much. That style will never become timeless. Likely driven by celebrities and other idiots who didn't come into their money via intelligence. An FPJ (with some exceptions) has a far more timeless style and just not so similar to the others. I prefer to stand out a bit but not too much. I'm not sashaying about putting my hands on my waist saying - 'heeeey meeeeister' all day while background 200 shoes. Yanno?

If I had the money to blow though an FP Journe would definitely be my watch of choice. Instead I'll probably stick with a Ressence Type 3 as the first really nice watch I buy but I'm worried about the fact it has some sort of bladder system to deal with the oil. The oil is what makes it really "pop" (hate that phrase) given the optical properties of the oil. The problem then is the temperature fluctation means the oil volume changes signficantly and you can't have bubbles as that'd ruin it. So it has this whole system to deal with that but I haven't read too indepth.

Oh well, maybe I'll get my second business going. Pretty sure I I want to shut down the existing one but I'm too fond of my employees and they all like their jobs. I fucking hate running it though. I just want to read and watch videos about watches all day wishing I'd chosen the path of a watch-maker in my early years. If not that then I sit on here and interact with KJ.

I just bought some more gold .. good idea or bad? Anytime prices shoot up that quickly you have to be cautious but you know that you can't lose too much on gold. It is like any other real asset. Thats what us smart poor people do. Investing via watches is pure gambling but hey if you know what you're doing nothing wrong with that. I think people are starting to realizse the inevitiblity of central banks crapping out on us. I also went with lots of 5 gram bars this time so I can sell them easier.

Apparently, this person doesn't understand or is pretending not to understand the difference in what he did. It is completely Ok to doubt someone and even express that you don't believe them. I do it all the time. People do it to me ALL the time. You can give the reasons why you don't believe them, which I try to do, or you can offer no reasons and just say you don't believe them.

That is quite a bit different than saying I can prove this person has lied 18 times and repeating it dozens of times. If you say I can prove, then you should be prepared to prove it and you should prove it.

AIQ isn't the first to do this and probably wont be the last. SeedValue did almost the exact same thing. Remember he kept talking about some kind of witnesses that were going to come forward and expose something (I forget exactly what), and guess what no witnesses ever came forward. Singer has also done a version of this many times with his claims that he knew information about me via his nephew the FBI agent. And despite that I gave him permission on multiple occasions he could NOT and has NOT produced a single thing. He has continued this as recently as a few nights ago when he came up with the little ditty about an arrest warrant having been issued for me.
