So being the naturalist, live off the land, Grizzly Adams guy that you now are, do you shoot your own bird this year? Of did you just catch, cook and eat fish for thanksgiving dinner?
No, I haven't been fishing for a few days; I have just been busy with too many other projects. However, I did cook the chicken(instead of turkey, we prefer it) over an open fire after brining it. I have never brined before, but it was very juicy and flavorful. I will forever brine my birds from now on.
NICE!

I am not a big turkey guy myself. Once a year is fine. It is tradition and seems important to my mom. Me personally, being a simple guy, I could enjoy a good Thanksgiving meatloaf (homemade) just as much. And I know my brother would prefer a steak on the grill which he eats way too often. Luckily there are 364 other days in the year.

Be well and happy Axelwolf.
Axel, did Shack move to Bellingham?
