I did marry my partner, soon after it became legal MrV.
It was kind of complicated and will piss the anti-gay marriage crowd off. I thought of him more of my best friend, than a huge romantic interest. But straight people marry their "best friend" all the time don't they? To be honest, I could have done without the formality of marriage and was happy just sharing our lives. But it did present some legal benefits, so I agreed. Unfortunately, our "permanent" was only 4 years until his passing. I really miss that guy. And I have always referred to him as "my Partner" rather than husband or spouse, sort of out of respect, so as not to inflame the anti-gay, anti-gay marriage people on this forum.

I don't think I will pursue marriage again. My current BF knows this, so... Of course, if his business REALLY takes off and becomes a huge success, I could change my mind.
