Facial recognition has never been as good in the casino environment as it is in other security setting like an airport. That is because unlike someplace like an airport, the "target" is not standing 3 feet away with a direct front on shot. It just does not work as well 300 feet way looking down at angles. Additionally, there are known ways to beat facial recognition, that are talked about on private forums that I am not going to mention here. I am not talking about hats or disguises, although hats do reduce the number of points that can be matched.

A much bigger problem for card counters is what grouped together is called behavior biometric analyzers. These claim to analyze body language and several other points, but really they are just the computerized evaluation of betting patterns that I have talked about. These aren't effective because 1) they must be ordered on a player, they can't evaluate every player and 2) the evaluation takes time...a certain number of rounds played, rather than time, but it comes down to time. Computerized evaluation have to see more than one time through the betting cycle. Depending on how quickly the game is being dealt, that can take anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour (for slow weekend games). And the clock on that doesn't even start running until the player increases wagers and an evaluation is ordered.

I have several betting and playing strategies that I employ makes it much less likely that an evaluation will even be ordered. I have talked about them multiple times. But in the end, it all comes back to one thing. Shorter sessions. The evaluation or gathering enough information in the evaluation takes time....a fairly significant number of rounds. If you just don't sit at one table for long periods of time, you deny the time it takes to complete an evaluation.

About the only players that would be at serious risk from behavior biometrics are players playing the high limit rooms. Evaluations are under way on these kind of players, just as soon as they raise their bets even the smallest amount. This extra scrutiny is why real card counters don't play higher limit rooms. That kind of talk is for people writing fantasy "adventure" stories.

I particularly like Dietz's comments about security taking a long lunch to follow a player up and down the strip. You are reading too many old detective novels Mr Dietz. God, you want so badly to find something that proves I am not doing what I say I am. Keep trying and good luck.
