Well put regnis. For me there is nothing in the casino that matches the rush of a good roll, whether I am shooting or someone else. Having said that, there have been many times when I didnt care for the crowd at the table for various reasons, so when the hand was over so was I.

As far as the germy dice, I think the cheques are worse, at least the dice get retired at least daily in most joints. And, along with frequent, thorough hand washes i try to never go to my face with my fingertips. Same thing goes with VP.
