I agree with Alan on this one. Saying Shackleford wasn't/isn't an AP is disingenuous. Obviously, there are some casinos, somewhere, where he could flex his AP muscles. Also, if you extend the definition of AP to all forms of gambling, including horse and sports betting, Shackleford does imply that he is an AP.
Singer will point this out -- saying someone is not an AP because casinos do not allow his play, therefore he has no way to make money, is just a semi-smooth way to allow anyone who calls themselves an AP to go broke gambling and blame it on something other than their AP expertise.
Shackleford considered himself a sports gambling expert, or at least as someone who was in bed with them. Nobody banned him from sports gambling.
