People that do the creepy things Dancer does to wives, who go thru multiple divorces, who live like the slob mickeycrimm is and lives like with no chance in hell of ever finding a female who'll marry him (and it explains why he has always been alone) or who put gambling before any relationship, simply give up much of the good that life has to offer and/or find relationship-ruin far easier than those of us who do not have those problems. Success in just about everything come much easier for those who do not have relationship-chaos in their lives. (Or of course, in Mickey's sad, sad case, zero relationship issues in his life). It is simply easier and much more satisfying and peaceful to have a long, enduring and very happy marriage. And I'm sure it'll make a giant difference the day the my wife or I are the first to go.
