I like to play in the lounge at our local casino because i enjoy the live entertainment they have nightly as well as the better pay tables at .25 denomination. Its funny, out on the casino floor the best DDB games at .25 i have seen is 8/5, with JOB being 7/5 i think. So out on the floor it is a no brainer for me to just play DDB. In the lounge its a mix, some machines have 9/5 DDB but with poorer paying schedules of BP and JOB. Others are 8/5 DDB with 9/6 JOB. So basically i have to change machines (if open) if i'm in a bad streak and want to play the best paying DDB or JOB.

I am definitely having an above average year for royals. You take the good with the bad right?

dannyj, it is very good that you are scouting the paytables throughout the casino. It is important, but for some reason certain casinos I been to have the best paytables on the bartops and certain ones have the worst ones out of the entire floor. I suppose they pressure people into caving into the temptation of alcohol. It is not worth switching machines, but yes I agree that the paytable arrangement is quite odd at the casino you play at.

Savor the moment with the royal stretch as best as possible, I heard from people who play regularly that it is entirely possible go an entire year without one. Still set aside the winnings to the bankroll so that you could survive rough stretches.
