Went back to the Wiz's yesterday, after a six-month break. (This site is dead?) The Wiz tried to answer another silly math question. How likely will the red cards come out ahead of the black ones? The Wiz says, "You have to count down with +/- 1 to the end of the deck. And the last card to come is either +/- 1 for red or black. So, according to the Wiz, it's 50% that the red lead the black all the way. But it might be a trick question. Or maybe I misunderstand the question."

I had to paraphrase the Wiz above a bit because he deleted his response after some guy with half a brain pointed out that the answer must be less than 50%, ( a lot less in fact. I can understand using admin privilege to clean up other persons' posts, but not to later "clean up" your own, especially once replied to directly, as also a poster.) There is no other way to interpret the question. A simple question stated simply by Don the silly useless math guy. Then, in an effort to "clean up" a bit more, the Wiz went on to talk about what the question reminds him of. Lol. Ie, 415 drunken sailor steps. Mysteriously, the same number used in Don's textbook answer. (People wonder about me not just believing a single word from anyone over there.) Drunken sailor alrighty. The horses left the barn ages ago.

Almost as silly as LarryS trying to legitimize the whole thing so that he can poke a disturbed sort of fun of it. It is hypocritical, however, to plead, "Thou shalt lose to the casino," and go on with a bunch of then useless math at every turn to lead on the real plooppies into thinking there is that sort of hope. Ya, RS__ was right. You have to meet the Wiz, to find him a very intelligent man. You have to meet him.

Now all we need is a video of the Wiz and Singer. That would be the holy grail of stupidity.
