The double super times pay machines were not a secret. There have been plenty of big winners on those machines -- and plenty of big losers too.

A couple of years ago I made 7 Stars playing 8/5 $2 Aces and Faces at Rincon. I even hit a royal which gave me a profit. I wouldn't try that again at 7/5 or 6/5.
