I know this much RS__: there are sometimes great promotions which can give you huge expected returns. For example, when I used to get $2500 free play. But I know these offers don't last. Unless an offer or promotion is always available it is not an "advantage play." It is only a loss leader for the casino. I think too many "APs" construe using these loss leaders as being some skilled technique. They're kidding themselves. If you can't always use it you have no advantage.
