Thread: Trip Report: Lost the girl, won at craps

    waaa....waaa...

Deflect & divert---the true traits of every imposter. But you can easily bail yourself out of this mess by providing JUST ONE link that proves one of the many accolades/accomplishments you assert about yourself.

Either that....or keep nervously checking in for how ridiculed you are here.

Oh wait....I spoke too soon! You had the internet washed!! Haha haha haha!!!!

Rob, any questions you'd like me to ask Gaming Today regarding you? It is your claim to fame, after all. Surely they think you're the cat's meow.

    Or possibly you're not.

You'd have a very hard time finding my articles In Barron's and New York Magazine and New Jersey Magazine and The Washington Journalism Review and The Columbia Journalism Review because they were written and published years and years before the Internet existed.

Several years ago I wanted to find my mother's cover on Harper's Bazaar Magazine. She was a model. She was on the cover when I was in 6th grade. I think it was the December issue??? Couldn't find it online. I sent a letter to the magazine but didn't get a response.

Frankly redietz, if you want us to find your articles and credits, we'll need a hint about where to look. Care to give us a hint?

I haven't written that much. I had many short pieces in the old House of Sports newsletters and such, but they were just game analyses. Most was pre-internet. I don't know where Rob (and coach) got the idea that I was claiming to be some oft-published scribe. I never said such a thing. Rob paraphrases people and invents weird straw man versions of what's actually been said so he can shoot them down.

Now a proven liar, redietz is backed into a corner. Whenever anyone's ever asked him to provide a link to at least one of his claims, his response has always been "it's your job and not mine to google it, where you'll find I'm telling the truth".

However, as the hangman's rope tightens, he now claims nothing can be located because his "group of PI's" has "washed the internet". And then instead of any admission, we get "bbbut....Hey Rob, anything you want me to tell GT?!!"

My guess is the phony is eating a gallon of ice cream right about now.

I have hard copies of virtually everything, Rob. McCusker Reports, Wise Guys contest standings, National Gambling Conference academic paper, interviews with papers, op-ed editorials published, Who's Who in Sports Gambling, House of Sports newsletters. I sent the link to the Heritage Race to the Super Bowl contest to Alan last year. I didn't want to post a link because, as Dan mentioned, Heritage is very private. Plus I don't do things just because Rob Singer wants me to do them.

I'll put together a hard copy package for both Alan and Dan, just so that if I kick the bucket in the next couple of years, somebody will be around to demonstrate who had some actual credentials.

I have never done an internet scrubbing. I've said that three times in three posts. Where in creation did you learn to read? Keep paraphrasing and opining. You sound a tad more histrionic than usual. If you have no good questions for Gaming Today, just say so. I have a few.

And please help me out with the "proven liar" line. I'm having a hard time locating the lie. Take your time.

The hole just keeps getting deeper, doesn't it. Now it's hard copies in the digital age. And a declined link to Heritage something or other because of "privacy worries". Next it'll be "my mommy told me to keep it all a special secret"!

    Yikes!!

  8. #128
The link wasn't declined. Alan saw the contest result. But good try, Rob.

Yes, hard copies. The kind you can read and carry. You know, like your printouts from the vp machines that proved, what was it, hot and cold streaks? Or did they prove fifth card non-randomness? Which was it? Are those printouts still in that storage locker in Arizona, or have they gone all digital? If they're digital, you should probably send them along to the Gaming Commission, dontcha think?

Rob, just answer one question. What the hell are you going to do when Alan and Dan have actual hard copy evidence that every claim I've made is correct? You gonna apologize? LOL.

Arguing with Rob is a waste of time.

He's admitted he just posts online to troll people. If that's not proof he's full of shit, then I don't know what is.

I haven't laughed so hard since Rob applied to Dancer and Compton for a job.

Coach, the key word there is "humble." Just because I had a couple dozen or a hundred game write-ups in Playbook or House of Sports doesn't make me an oft-published scribe, at least in my eyes. Just because I wrote up individual week analyses for clients doesn't make me an oft-published scribe, either. They do, however, qualify me as a "humble sports writer." I'd consider a 10-year stint with USA Today as being an oft-published scribe.

And while I appreciate you culling my posts for that particular line, it also means you never located me saying, as Rob quoted, that I'm "well-known in the gaming industry." I'm sorry you weren't able to snag the 1K, but better luck next time. Maybe you could search the posts for me saying I'm a "well-known" anything. I still have a check for a hundred if you locate that one. Good luck, buddy.

OK...so you're a nearly unpublished humbled sports writer, who wrote about sports in his diary.

You confess to employment as a tout, which apparently led to an interview in your local newspaper.

Fascinating...here's a handicapping question...what's the over/under on how many more times you'll post your resume here and on GF?

Coach, no luck with locating me saying "I'm well known," eh? Better luck next time.

I don't keep a diary, but I'll take it under consideration. And "nearly unpublished?" There's a phrase. A couple dozen articles here, a hundred there. Not sure that qualifies as "nearly unpublished." In fact, "nearly unpublished" is in the same category as "almost pregnant."

You're working hard, coach. Glad to see you've checked GF. Note how, in 3100 posts here, I never even mentioned the Billy Walters thing once. That's because I'm a "humble" sportswriter.

redietz please end this agony and just give us some links. thanks.

So are you often published, or nearly unpublished?

How many posts did it take you on GF to start name-dropping?

Does that somehow demonstrate that you are humble?

I do hope that you are doing ok still after the annulment and that your life is back on track, unlike this thread

Thanks! My life is back on track. Now, if we could get mr. redietz to once and for all steer us to his credits: names or links would be appropriate. We can get this thing resolved.

There is no question what Rob Singer did: he had a column in Gaming Today and he published two books that were not Pulitzer Prize winners.

More typical wordy responses to a simple point of fact. You just never get it. Ever notice how when anybody brings up your penchant for being elusive, you counter with deflections? And who cares what Alan saw and who you claim to be? To get out of your self-dug hole, just post a few links that verify some claims you make on here instead of dancing around things. Then post self-identifiable proof once and for all. Even that idiot RS__ has his doubts about you, although no one can figure out why he's too cowardly to say it.

But alas, it's true the coach rattles you a lot more than me, and I'm rather impressed by that. And at the same time you're ruffling that moron RS__'s feathers, which further piques my envy.

God bless the internet. And God bless phonies like redietz!

Yes, refuse to pay creditors back, we already know
