I don't often agree with Alan on much, but I do agree with him that this was terrorism. Usually we think of "terrorism" as associated with some sort of political cause or statement. And while there is no immediate indication that is the case here, we don't know for sure because we can't see inside the head of this man and if we could...he was a fuckin madman...purely insane.

When the intent is to create as much damage, loss of life and injury as possible, and secondary....the terror an panic that follow it....that is terrorism in my book, regardless of any kind of motive....sick as it may be.
