I am just curious, coach belly, why you had the need to start with name calling. We were having a discussion here, obviously on different sides of the issue, but it has up until this point been civil. And then, you have to resort back to name calling, where everything will escalate. Can't you be better than this?

Now to the bigger issue and I am not sure I should be raising this in this thread, but I guess we have already wondered so far off topic that it doesn't matter. (maybe Dan should break some of this off to a new thread). But here is what I really can't comprehend: I guess Singer found this site, followed Alan here, when he (Singer) ran out of sites to post at, having been banned everywhere else. So he tells his "story" here of making a million dollars, by methods that mathematically are if not impossible, at least very improbable. The math just doesn't support his claims. He certainly has that in common with Alan and his big claim.

So I don't quite understand where this following came from. People that seem like half way intelligent people, that have become enamored with Singer and his story, to the point that they attack anyone who questions Singer or anyone who points out that the math doesn't support his claims. It is hard to understand this worship, this idolization by a coach belly and blackhole, and Alan and a few others. And yes Alan is right there. While Alan doesn't attack the way coach belly and blackhole does, Alan goes about his sneaky methods to try to discredit those that question Singer and who Singer attacks. The word for Alan in this whole mess is "enabler". And yes, that is why Alan manufactured this phony excuse to exit, once it became obvious he would not be able to use his influence to have his idol reinstated.

I just really don't understand this whole mess. I don't "get" this power that this nut job Singer seems to wield over these "followers". It's like some weird cult. Can anybody explain it to me?

And I am not quite sure how James40 fits into this? Is he too one of these Singer worshipers, or is he just attacking me or other reasons, that I guess only he knows?

I just want to understand all of this, because it really seems like some sort of alternative, "wacko" universe.
