I made an off-hand comment that I would have no problem laying 100 to 1 that a person playing a 98% game like 7/5 Bonus Poker would not be at breakeven or ahead through 1,000,000 hands. My comment was meant to mean that it would be almost impossible for someone to be ahead at that point. If 20,000 people played 1,000,000 hands maybe 1 or 2 might be at breakeven or ahead. On a hundred play you are not playing 100 games in the same deal. You are dealt one hand and you take 100 draws to it. So Coach Worm would have to hit the deal button 1,000,000 times whether it's single line or multi-line.
The absolute best chance to be at breakeven or ahead is to play just one hand. According to the software you make a non-paying hand 55% of the time. That means your chance would be 45%. It doesn't matter if it's single line or multi-hand. You have a 45% chance. Every hand you add to the sample space decreases your chances of being ahead. In a sample space of two hands you have less than a 45% chance to be at breakeven or ahead. In a sample space of 3 hands you have even less of a chance. Playing 100 hands on a single line is not equivalent to playing 1 hand on a hundred play as far as your chances of being at breakeven or ahead. The hundred play has a 45% chance in this situation while the single line would have much less of a chance.
Hitting the deal button 10,000 times on a hundred play is not equivalent to hitting the deal button 1,000,000 times on a single line as far as your chances of being at breakeven or ahead. I'm not in the business of making bets with people where they have a chance to win. I'm either an overwhelming favorite or I don't play. I leave that type of gambling up to suckers like Coach Worm. While I would lay 100 to 1 on 1,000,000 hands (where the deal button is hit 1,000,000 times) on single line I would not do the same for 10,000 hands (where the deal button is hit just 10,000 times) on a hundred play. I put the chance to be ahead on a hundred play thru 10,000 hands at better than 1 in 100. Hence I would not lay 100 to 1 in that spot.
I would not allow any manipulation of the bet either. Whatever the first bet is on the game would be the bet throughout.
Oh, Coach Worm has never had a problem with Argentino packing a weapon.
One final thought. It's obvious by his questioning that Coach Worm is interested in Bubble Craps. There have been a lot of valuable contributions made in that thread by many. I've put up my share to. And there have been several threads where I've contributed useful information. In other words, though he trolls the hell out of me, I still put up information that he can use. He has never put up any kind of information that I can use.
