You've got it. The casino vig will erode your bankroll in a negative expectation game as each decision occurs. If one can reduce the frequency of decisions your bankroll will last longer in time even if the percentage return is worse. By way of example, compare bankroll effects of video slots (negative vig with frequent decisions) vs regular keno (worse vig with a decision every 15 minutes or so).
