Finally, a word about fake and duplicate accounts:

For the most part, I respect people's desire to stay anonymous here. I don't need to know who you are in order for you to be a member here in good standing.

This also goes for duplicate accounts. If you make a second account for purposes of posting something useful without associating it with your normal identity (for example, some insider info about a casino that's not supposed to be known), then I will respect that and not out you.

However, if duplicate accounts are registered simply to troll and fight with people, they will be banned.

Furthermore, banned users with duplicate accounts will again be banned.

Furthermore, if I suspect that any account is a duplicate, I may request that user to have a telephone conversation with me. If they refuse to do so, I may disable their account. Why? Because I have a good nose for sniffing out these things, and I have a right to remove anyone I deem suspicious, if they won't cooperate with identifying themselves when asked.

However, I can tell you that this won't affect the vast majority of you. Most of you can continue posting normally, and I will never bother asking you to verify anything, as I probably trust that you are a real user, even if I don't know your identity in real life.

I regret that I let this forum go on for too long with pointless trolling and fighting. I will continue to clean things up here, and will remove people who are not here to contribute anything valuable.
