My answer is No. If I am not feeling well, I take the day off and or go home early if I need to. This rarely happens with me, but my spouse who is my chauffer sometimes is having a bad day health-wise, so we knock off early. But I don't do so strictly because I am losing. The cards don't know that I am losing, so there I no reason the next round or session won't be a winning one. I am playing with an advantage. I often joke about the "blackjack gods" or "variance gods" smiling or frowning on me. But if you really believe that and alter you play because of it, you have crossed some sort of voodoo line in my opinion. Although I am not a math geek kind of guy like a Shackleford, or blackjack guys Schlesinger or Wattenberger, I believe in the math, not karma, or biorythems or stuff. If I have an advantage I play until there is another reason to stop, not strictly based on having a bad day.

And if I want to take a day off and relax at the pool or take in a movie or I do it. That is one of the benefits of self-employment. I try not to do so too often, because you can get into a bad habit, but occasionally, I call an audible and take a unscheduled vacation day.
