If I absolutely must take some real money, anything more than a thousand walk-around money, I am having it buried in my carry-on, or packpack, that I try not to let get out of eyesight going through security. It was him. I suggest just leaving it in your backpack or whatever. Don't pack it tight is what was told to me by a TSA guy. Just single stacked bills kind of loose with a band around the middle. Most likely to just go right on thru.
