LarryS,
How can I, "Steal," something that has no value. I didn't say that Free Play has no cash value, the casino did. I can only think of one state in which that even has an outside hope of being a crime. Furthermore, if I have the permission of the cardholder to use said Free Play, again, I have no idea who you think I am taking something from since the casino thinks it is worthless.
It's also not justice against the casino, there is nothing to get justice for. I'm trying to make money, the casino is trying to make money. It's really just a simple matter of turnabout being fair play, as far as I am concerned. Justice has nothing to do with it.
I agree with you on double/triple dipping quads where cash may be involved. I agree it is stealing if Nevada says it's stealing. Even if Nevada doesn't feel that way, it's not something I would do. Mainly because I do not want to collude with any employees on something like that and I don't want to get anyone I am not colluding with fired. Even where Free Play is involved, I wouldn't personally do THAT.
I never claimed to be squeaky clean. I have things I do and things I won't do. Some Religions would say I am, "Shady," for even entering a casino because that is against their Religion. It's all relative and subjective.
We never left the realm of personal opinions. The only facts are what does or does not break the law. It is a fact that the players club cards with permission of the owner is not something that would break the law, in most states. Anything after that is subjective.
I also disagree about inside/outside scoring. It ALL depends on the person being asked. I think Monet would give me a much lower score than he would give himself, for example. I would probably give myself a higher score than I would give you. Based only on what you have said, I think I'm probably more shady than you. I try to be as objective with my subjectivity as possible.
