Gentlemen, gentlemen, we accomplish nothing by insulting one another except the derivation of some personal satisfaction.

    Carry on.
    What, Me Worry?

    You are correct.

mickey isn't really interested in anything that doesn't end up showing me dangling at the end of a rope. I also believe he knows he got his man-tit caught in the wringer claiming to know what he's talking about when he doesn't, and he lacks the capability of going any further on this. So unless he has any questions instead of the made up points, it's Game Over!

    1) Rob Singer did indeed push a bogus "strategy" which was -EV and made no logical sense. I didn't see any evidence he was pushing this strategy for personal profit. Rather, he hated APs and wanted to be seen as someone who could win without APing, which is just strange. But to say that Rob admitted the faults in his strategies is inaccurate. He claimed he knew how to win.

    2) I never understood why Alan defended Rob so much, especially given how Rob would often insult him and slam his personal life. However, I don't agree with redeitz that it reflects badly on Alan and his business. The average person (who doesn't read this and similar gambling forums) would never associate Rob Singer and Alan Mendelson together. Alan has long been out of the mainstream news business, and has spent the last several years doing infomercials for businesses. I'm not knocking that, but if Alan wants to have some idiotic friends and back their crazy views on forums, I don't see it as a big deal. It's stupid, but not a big deal.

    3) I understand redeitz's personal gripes with Alan (Alan handled the package/proof situation with redeitz very poorly), but I don't feel it warrants redeitz trying to publicize harmful material about Alan, especially if it's going to affect unrelated people like Alan's son.

    4) I WOULD BE WILLING TO TEMPORARILY UNBAN ROB SINGER so he can respond in this thread. Alan or someone else can let me know if he's interested.
Well slobbie, I went back and read what he wrote. I highlighted the pertinent sentence.
Druff, let us know when you receive redietz’ credit score.

And then when he actually UNBANNED RS, he said something quite different.

'"m going to reinstate him now, but he will be restricted to post only in this thread and the other recent Singer thread.

I will delete any posts of his anywhere else."

    And there you have it!
I think I'll now downgrade you to an F-. You've seen that before, right?

I guess it's too late for you to smarten up?

You say you want to get rid of me mickey, but Methinks you really don't. It's all part of your "tough guy with a big fat gut" performance.

What part of "temporary" don't you understand?

You're focused on a word that wasn't included in what he actually did, because you fear that me being around too long would continue to eat into your ugly trolling methods. And that would mean YOU COULD BE NEXT. YIKES! HORROR OF HORRORS!!

I'll put this info in this thread since it's OK for me to post here.

monet made some serious claims about how he simply tosses up to $750,000 in W2G's each year, and how he hasn't filed a tax return in 20 years. So I had an extended conversation this morning with my son-in-law to see if this were really possible, doable, and doable with the total immunity that monet says he has. Here's a summary of the answers:

Tossing away gaming tax forms: Sure you can do it, but whether or not you file a tax return, the casinos send electronic copies of them into the IRS every year. When they are unable to be matched up to a filing taxpayer the IRS attempts to contact the taxpayer at the address on the form, not later than March of the following year. In that letter is a Tax Due amount, figured simply on the gambling income. And if you're married, THIS is when they let you know they are aware of that. This is when the hammer comes down on both. Criminal charges at this point begin to process.

Now AP's are known for their tricks, so I asked "what if the guy is using a fake ID with a fake SS card, because of the obvious, inescapable problems that await above? Well, he said that when casinos send in W2G forms that have no match in their system, the casinos are notified by Dec. of that year. They are then required by law to notify law enforcement if and when a person with that SS# attempts to use it for any future gambling transactions, and law enforcement is required to apprehend the person. Game over.

This means that anyone trying to hide their true identity in order to defraud the Fed. Gov't. would have to change their identity year after year, and keep from ever becoming known at any casino. Almost impossible, and the person would eventually slip up. Plus, such a clever fraudster would NEVER be posting about what he "gets away with" on a public gambling forum.

And then there's the wife and whatever part of the rest of the family that is found to be aiding & abetting these crimes, or not informing authorities about it when they know. He's putting all these people at risk. His wife is automatically directly involved.

Bottom line here, monet is either making this stuff up---or he's the dumbest, most stupid internet poster to come down the pike of all time. And he doesn't appear stupid.

I believe he's just another of these forum AP's who run around to different boards craving relevance. More than likely their personal lives are saddled with problems and social issues, so they get solace from their pretend lives on forums. I put this guy in the same class as kewlj. If you notice, they spill a ton of beans on some sort of personal life they for some reason want everyone to be aware of....but they're both anonymous! They sprinkle in some truths with all the BS just so they can tell themselves and believe somewhat that their stories are true.

The moral of the story is Robert Harry Argentino is a known snitch and has a son-in-law in the Phoenix office of the IRS.

I don't see how anybody couldn't be. I would hope Larry sees it thus way too.

It's funny how a guy can look pretty solid, at least until you spot a loose thread, pull on it, and the whole thing unravels.

Once again a bullshit artist got tripped up not remembering his lies.

If you're gonna lie, you'd better be damned good at it; amateurs need not apply.

    "Idiots?"

You might think we drove him from the board, but he was behind the wheel of that careening bus he was piloting.

What, did you actually believe that bullshit about 20 years of not filing taxes while earning millions at the machines as evidenced by W-2G's?

He got tripped up by his lies; yeah he had some decent info about slot play but his bullshit got deep enough that hip boots were required.

    Open mouth, insert foot.

A million dollars in W2-G's does not equate to making a million dollars. Probably more like $150,000.

V, give me your social security number. I want to check it with the IRS.

All I know is that people don't socialize to sincerely and actually help each other out. So, they break out the drinks and whatnot to smooth things over. It really ain't so easy to shit on the other guy, or to be shit on.
