The panic button idea is really a good idea. We've all seem those TV commercials for Life Alert and a similar system would be workable... at a cost.

The sad thing would be having to spend thar money just in case there's another shooter.

But what about training and monitoring? When do you push the button? Does a woman housekeeper push the button if a man opens the door nude and says change my sheets now?

You always want guns limited inside a casino or totally blocked. Casinos never want to risk a guest getting hurt. Back in the day when only robberies were feared the casino's attitude was take the money the police will catch them later.

It's unlikely Caesars or MGM will be struck. They'll "buy" a new contract but don't be surprised if the panic button system catches on over the next year or two.
