Kewlj you are correct that Rob should never have insulted anyone and I am his friend and I've told him that too. But these forums (and I mean all of them) are filled with insults and attacks.

I never insulted you. I disagreed with your two-table claim but you immediately attacked me.

You are correct Alan, that I sometimes get caught up and go in that direction. You do too Alan. I will give you credit for being a little more restrained than some of us, but you most certainly have attacked me as well. I can go back and quote some if you really feel the need.

But for my money, in my experiences here, this climate started with Rob. When he is unable to defend or answer criticism, he attacks. "You are stupid", "you are dumb", "you are an alcoholic", homophobic slurs, personal attacks, even personal attacks on spouses and family members that have passed away and never even participated here (and not just mine). All because he runs out of answers defending what there is no legitimate defense for.

this strategy of attacks serves two purposes, to tear down those criticizing Rob and his methods and try to discredit them and it is meant to discourage others who may want to weigh in. Serves as a warning.
