Also... It is pretty easy to add 1 + 1- 1 + 1 + 0 + 0 ... I mean.. it's not exactly complicated math. I can calculate odds based on my holdings on the fly.

If you are going to count you better be able to see 12 cards on a table and be able to figure the sum within a second... Just as easily as you can figure 2+2 = 4
This is yet another thing Alan fought me on. Most counters use a cancelation method. You look at a group of 8-10 cards and several have a value of zero and several others cancel out, leaving you with a number for the group in about a tenth of a second. This isn't even something you intentionally do. Your mind just does it after a while.
KJ. This is quite a pissing contest you've entered with someone who admits to never playing the game. Maybe this will help?

Those are issue on the east coast. Here in Vegas, we have few NMSE tables and it was the less crowded conditions here (in Vegas) that lead me to start using this technique to begin with. I did not track multiple tables when I was back east. Tarzan also raised the concern about accuracy and missed cards. Tracking a second table is like back-counting. The count at the second table need not be perfect. Just enough to know that is a superior opportunity than the table you are currently playing.

KJ. I'm curious. I did not see one post from Tarzan in this entire thread. Zee made some posts. Is Zee Tarzan?
